During my first visit, I was told, "Come back in 6 months--too many layers!" I followed that advice and returned after 6 months, only to be told, "Still one layer left--come back in 3 months!" So, I came back today, hoping for some progress, but what I received was beyond frustrating. The stylist was rude and refused to cut my hair at all. I asked for at least a trim or some shape around my face, but he outright declined. He conveyed his refusal with a statement that was dismissive and condescending, saying he wouldn't cut my hair just because I wanted something different. I live in Rome and travel frequently, making it difficult to schedule haircuts. I'm furious that he wasted my time, especially after giving him multiple chances. I've never encountered a stylist who couldn't create a hairstyle or a transitional look for long, straight hair with fringe bangs. It makes me question his talent and creativity. I cannot recommend HeadSpace Salon based on this experience. It's disheartening to feel ignored and undervalued as a client. I see based on the other negative reviews, I'm not alone in this experience. I can speak quite a bit of Italian but I'm not fluent, so I used Google translate, because when it comes to my hair, I don't want misunderstandings. Maybe he only likes to cut Italians. All the stylist were extremely talented and friendly. Very clean and their chairs are comfortable. I have zero complaints and all the complements in the world for this salon. I plan to visit them again when I am back in Rome.

He recommended Silvia take care of me, which she truly did. I had no clue what hairstyle I wanted, and Silvia took the time to talk me through the options -- she even provided me WiFi to show her my dress online to make sure we picked a good match! So I looked up some pictures on Pinterest for the to see what I wanted since my Italian is still not very fluent and went. They greet you like your are a regular and already know your name from the first minute you walk in! They gave me a nice shampoo and short massage and proceeded to the cut, it was awesome! The girl that did my cut was very talented and the ambiance is very energetic with cool background music. I mean they even offered me beer while I was having my hair done! We got a couple's massage in one of the back rooms and they had even put candles to give a nice vibe. There were some mosquitos so I brought some bug spray with me to keep them away while I was getting massage and was able to avoid getting bit. Price was very reasonable and I wanted to go back again but did not have enough time. Make sure to stop by and reserve your massage earlier in the morning or the day prior.
