I have really thinning hair on the crown of my head, very embarrassed about it and finally decided to stop styling my hair in the Donald Trump comb over swoop and cut my hair short. I went in with pictures, and Jessica stated she was really excited, and kinda invested in making this go good for me. Especially as I was already experiencing some second-thoughts and anxiety about just cutting all of my hair off into a bit of a longer pixie cut. The cut in the end was great! I will absolutely be going back in 6 weeks, we already discussed how we'd cut it a bit shorter in the back next time and I've already started experimenting with the styling she suggested. 5 out of 5 doesn't cut it!…read more I've been a client of Monika's for some time now. The very first time I saw Monika, it was just to get a hair cut. I had very long (almost waist length hair), and it was dry, damaged, and unmanageable. I decided I was going to cut it, jusy past shoulder length. Monika immediately reassured me, and took control of what I wanted. She listened to what I was asking, made her suggestions, ensured I was ok with this big decision, and then went for it! Before this encounter, I had not been in a salon, for over 2 years. I was sick of bad experiences, or just being content with my new hair cut. During that first cut, Monika got me to open up about my "hair goals". I told her what I wished I could do, but my hair was so damaged, and I was too afraid to try. Again, she reassured me. Finally, when I went back to get a trim, decided to let her take care of colouring it (box colour and roots were attrocious). WOW! Is all I can say, it was absolutely amazing, and I haven't turned back since! I let Monika do whatever she wants with my hair! She definitely knows best, and my hair has come such a long way, is so much healthier (not just healthy looking!), all while I've been able to enjoy having it coloured! Both my brothers also see Monika, and it is amazing. Much like me, one was very shy and timid with hair cuts (wore a hat at all times because he was too nervous to get a hair cut), and Monika world wonders! He doesn't even look like the same person, and certainly does not wear hats all the time anymore! We travel over an hour to see Monika, so I cannot recommend her highly enough!! I've added pictures of the first, and most recent colours from Monika. Even looking at the two before pics, you can see the complete difference in health of my hair. Which was much worse when I first when to see her! Monika does truly amazing work, and has given not only me, but my brother as well, confidence, and a love for our hair, and that is absolutely priceless!

Then when he developed his own salon and business I received an email. Cameron is the only stylist who I have been completely satisfied with. I have a rather thick head of hair and he knows exactly how to work 'his magic'. I only 'cheated' (an acquaintance with her own place) on him once and did I ever regret it. I went right back to him for a repair on the mess she created. I am a very committed and loyal client and will never ever cheat on him again.

He had to have his hair cut…read moretoday, a Thursday, he couldn't wait until the appointment that I had made elsewhere for the upcoming Saturday. The decor was very tired and extremely dated. He almost turned and ran. However, aside from needing a complete makeover, the stylist was fast, efficient and is current with the styles. The price was a little more than I would of liked for a young man with very short hair which paired with the outdated decor is the reason for the missing star. Most importantly though my son is very happy which makes my life peaceful so yes I would definitely recommend to a friend and I will be a repeat customer.
