When I later went to another salon to have the extensions removed, they found that they had been glued into my natural hair. Removal took three separate sessions. The salon tried different oils and methods to loosen the glue and remove the extensions as carefully as possible, but my natural hair still experienced significant breakage and damage during the process.I have photos of the condition of my hair as well as a recording from the salon during the removal process. I am including photos with this review so others can see my experience.I'm extremely disappointed because the stylist was aware from the beginning that my hair was already very thin. I trusted that the installation method being used would be appropriate for my hair. Unfortunately, I am now dealing with damage to hair that was already very fragile. where do i even start? remi & kiki have changed my life! i've been going to remi for a few years…read morenow, i've never had hair extensions until i finally pulled the trigger and chose them after months of researching. i'm bleach blonde and just couldn't get my natural hair to grow past a certain point, and i was so nervous about extensions because i knew it was an investment, but the moment i had my consultation i was 100% sure i chose the right place and people to trust. these extensions are so many things but most importantly they are damn near invisible, long, light, and easy to maintain. i can wear my hair up, down, half up half down, in a braid, etc. and they are still invisible. every time i leave the house i get stopped - to ask about my hair or compliment it. I was then taken care of by two beautiful women, Mariam and Tiffany, and not just one but BOTH of them went to work on my hair. I walked in basically asking for a "Farrah Fawcett," and they absolutely delivered, only better! I've had plenty of haircuts over the years, and while a fresh haircut always feels good, my hair has never felt this good when I've walked out of a salon. It feels bouncy, balanced, light, and somehow just...RIGHT! When I caught my reflection in my car window, I literally thought, "OMG! No way!" I have never been this delighted with a haircut before in my life! When I got home, my family was happily impressed, and my husband not only noticed but was pleasantly surprised-which actually says a lot! And the best part? I was a walk-in! They took me right in, washed my hair with a shampoo made for the Gods, then cut and dried it, and all for an extremely competitive price. They totally made me feel like a rock star!
