This was unfortunately the worst hair experience ever. I've had good haircuts from hair cuttery but the short pump location is the worst one. I paid for a blow dry and my hair was still wet. I did not book this stylist She is a novice I have straight hair with three choppy layers due to this haircut. I look like a shelf My left bangs are chin-length My right bangs are eye length My hair looks like a new dog groomer with tremors got into it The girl who did my blowout explained I was her FIRST client The blowout took so long my legs fell asleep because she forgot to use product, had to start over, and couldn't figure out how to section my hair. The clipped side air dried while she pointed the dryer at my scalp and burned me. I know everyone has to learn, but I'm not a crash test dummy and I didn't book or pay to look like this. I waited at the counter excessively, the last client, while 3 stylists argued about how to charge me so newbie got a commission. I didn't get to see the back once my hair was dry and when home, where my husband took a picture for me and showed me how horrible it looked. Also; the stylist working next to me when I started dropped equipment in hair on the floor and just tucked it back in with the rest of the clips...disgusting. The girl who cut my hair did show me the back to ask what I think, but I explained I could not see well since my hair was very wet and clung together. I will not be returning without restitution. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Lee has time and time again taken multiple other customers while bleach sat in my hair for over an hour! She over books everytime and then ends up rushing through her work. I have spent so much money here at this location but I will NEVER come here again. NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE. An Asian old lady cut my hair. she asked me how much length she can reduce. I told her max 2 in. but she reduced more than 9 inches. when I went there my hair was under my chest level now it is shoulder length. Also SHE TOOK OFF ALOT OF hair volume. she moved scissors too fast from the top to bottom of my hair like she is cutting some shrub. I felt we cut even shrub with a lot of care and patience. I was in need of a quick haircut. I saw this place on my way to work and thought it's a chain it should be fine. The lady greeted me quickly and was ready to go. As I was guided to the chair, I saw someone else's hair all over a towel that was hung over my chair, hair stuck onto the metal rung of the chairs, hair in every crevice and nook, anything and everything shoved into the "antiseptic" glass comb jar thing sitting on the table. Generally, that same antiseptic jar should have a blue solution in it right? At least that's what I always thought. Anyways, it wasn't blue. It wasn't even sky blue. It was greyish with a hint of blue undertones. But I figured don't jump to conclusions everything will be ok. Well, needless to say she started cutting my hair without a drape or shawl cover on. I was in disbelief. Is she really cutting my hair without covering my clothes? I mentioned to her I'm working after this. "Oh ok." Then she pulls the drape on. But by then I could feel the hair causing my back to itch. I've never had this happen before. After that I was ready to go. My haircut was good for $20 but I was a little annoyed by the lack of professionalism and lack of cleanliness. But I was pleased otherwise. Went on a Saturday night and Shakeya and Whitley were working and they had great customer service. Shakeya cut my hair and I loved it.

I'm usually not one to leave reviews, but I definitely think this place deserves one. I'm very skeptical about who I let touch my hair, but I knew that on a Sunday, especially on Mother's Day, my options would be pretty limited. I wanted to quickly get in and out so that it wouldn't disrupt the rest of my day. Gabby cut my hair that day and she did such a fantastic job. She took roughly 12" off of the length and she did exactly what I asked her to! She did so well, that I decided to come back two days later so she could color my hair. I asked for a light/caramel colored balayage and again, she knew exactly what to do. Not only does she do a great job, she's the sweetest girl and is very personable! Autumn took care of me she gave me the perfect cut and blowout style I loved it! To top it all off she noticed my eyebrows were bushy and offered to clean them up. Went in for my haircut and though it looks professional and still nice, it wasn't at all what I asked for. The individual cut the top way too short, which was not what I asked for. I only asked for a little to be taken off and she took off what felt like inches. After a while I told her "that's as short as I go" and she still continued to cut. Then after the shampooing we went back to my seat and she cut more off. I literally had to hold in an audible gasp. Again, the cut isn't bad and I know hair grows back, just wished I hadn't spent $20 on a haircut that wasn't requested. read more

I had the worst experience there. I made an appointment with the master stylist Esther for a haircut. My hair is very long and I wanted a change. She didn't know what she was doing, it was so bad I ended up with uneven sides and my hair looked hideous. She called the other lady for help, she saved the day and fixed it. read more

if you want to be treated badly and bleed, this is the place for you!! do not waste your money here at all. i went with my friend because she wanted to get a very simple haircut. the woman was rude and couldn't comprehend the style she wanted. she wanted to cut it the way SHE wanted not what my friend wanted. halfway into the already frustrating experience, the woman cut my friends ear very badly. she apologized which was necessary after that. after blow drying and everything was done it was time to pay. $17 is decent for a shampoo, cut, and blowdry but after injuring a client it's absurd. my friend is a nice person and tipped her $5, making the total $22. the woman then proceeded to give herself a $22 tip making it $44. we didn't notice and left. a coworker caught her and chased us out to fix the situation. never coming back here. don't waste your time. awful. read more

I went on a Monday and paid $72.00 for a permanent. I gave a $5.00 tip afterwards. The perm was to have body and the ends of my hair were supposed to turn under. When I left Hair Cuttery, my hair looked okay. The next day when I got out of bed, my hair was all over the place. Left side sticking out to the left, bangs sticking straight up, and the right side just laying there. I combed my hair and it looked worse. I washed my hair on Saturday (like I was told to do) and instead of my hair curling under, my hair just spread out all over. Because of the weather, I didn't get to go back to the salon until a week and one day after (Tuesday). Lisa Marie (the person who did the perm) informed me that using a regular comb takes the curl out (hair turning under). I was to use a special type of comb. I asked for my $5.00 tip from her and she said that she did not have any money, so she did not give it to me. As I went out of the door, I said something to the effect that the people there lie too. I got the special type of comb and even when I use it, my hair just spreads out on the left, sits straight up in front, and just lays there on the right. My hair looks terrible. I am ashamed to go anywhere with my hair looking like it does. I guess I will have to start pincurling my hair again in order to be seen. I will never go there again and I suggest that other people should go elsewhere also. read more
