My Mother had an awful snarl of a mess on the back of her hair from years of rejecting hair care. I struck luck to find my Mother in a semi cooperative mood this morning about the possibility of allowing her hair to be cut. We were in the area when I noticed your salon and I ran into see if you had anyone available to help. I spoke with Ashley who said she was available. When I say my Mothers hair was a mess, this is not at all an exaggeration, yet Ashley was kind, patient, polite and jumped right in. I really thought for sure Ashley was going to have to shave the entire back of my Mothers head, however Ashley patiently combed, cut and was able to save a large portion of my Mothers hair. Ashley was then able to wash, and give her hair the cutest / stylish cut in the back and turned the sides my Mother wanted to keep into a perfect masterpiece. My Mother who has been so reluctant for years was tickled and I could not had been more grateful and impressed with Ashley's services and equally as important her kindles and compassion. She first cut his hair when he was about a year old. She's cut it a few times since then and he's 2 1/2 now. Like any toddler, he's squirmy and energetic. He's also always so nervous about the hair tools. But of all the people I've taken my son to for haircuts, Molly does such a wonderful job putting him at ease and cutting his hair. After showing pictures and going over it several times, the person that did my hair acted like they didn't care at all they completely got it wrong! She was very unprofessional. Most of the time I was there, she was talking to other stylists about her personal life and how she was so tired because she did some type of race and that she wished she hadn't had to work that day, when she realized that she made a complete mess of my hair, she continued to act like it was fine and that in a few weeks I would like it . When I told her I did not like it at all, she just started making excuses. I would never recommend the salon , and I honestly think that they really don't care about their customers or losing them . I left there completely unsatisfied and was charged full price. when they admitted that they completely got it wrong. . After I just really wanted to get out of there. I had to go to another salon the next day to have it fixed. I was never contacted again. They never apologized and they made it a point to tell me that they would be in communications with me to set up another appointment to help fix the problem that they made, because they couldn't finish it because they didn't have the time that day. I said if it would be helpful so he took me to wash my hair, but never put conditioner in never combed my hair and with the towel ended up popping my earring out.. he received a phone call and answered it, which was odd. When I told him what kind of cut I wanted, he said he wasn't sure what that was. Sitting in the chair he never combed my hair was just playing with it then asked me to stand. The second time, they lost my card and had to figure out which color to use. It came out burgundy, which is not at all my color and yet, a couple of hairdressers came over to agree that was the correct color solution to use. When I got out in natural light, I realized how drastically wrong it was! I went back for a re-color, and it was acceptable, but not great. The next trip was just to have my hair washed, as I had just had knee replacement, and was very limited in mobility. My husband came into the salon with me and I asked how much it would cost to wash my hair. I was quoted $19. When I checked out, it was $31 and I questioned how that could be when I was quoted $19. That particular hairdresser had been standing right there at the desk when I asked for the original quote and yet she said to me, " well when you call in, we don't know how long your hair is. "I replied that I was standing right there and so was she when I got the quote; it was not over the phone. Then she said, ""well I blew it dry and that takes time." Sure it takes time, but even though my hair was long it's very fine. I did not ask for any kind of styling. I just didn't want to go out in the cold with wet hair since it was the month of March. She stood her ground and I paid the $31 being very disappointed in the lack of transparency. She should have told me it was going to be extra and how much before she did anything other than shampoo it. The final visit to that salon was the one that broke the camel's back! I went to the gal who had colored my hair previously, giving her one last chance, since I knew she was a single mom working to support her kids. When the coloring was finished, and she took off the plastic cape, I noticed some big spots on my orange T-shirt dress that I had just purchased and was wearing for the first time. It was just meant to be a casual every day summer dress that was short enough that it did not touch my knee, which was still healing. She and another hairdresser said it's probably just water, but I knew better. When it dried, the spots were very prominent, and I looked online for how to get them out and nothing worked. I called the salon to talk to the manager and then got a call from the regional manager who told me I would get a follow up that same day from the local manager. She asked, and I assured her that I had the dress and pictures, and still had the receipt. After leaving text messages and another call to the regional manager, I was never contacted by the local manager. I was simply asking for reimbursement, which, since the dress was on clearance, with a cost of a mere $10 plus tax, it was never about the money, it was about the fact that the customer service and training was so poor. So now, three months later, I still have the dress in the bag, and have found a wonderful hairdresser elsewhere. My willingness to give that salon multiple opportunities, my desire to help a single mom (and she knew I was a big tipper), had no meaning. I hope this review gets to someone at the corporate office. With the details I've included, it should be very recognizable as to which customer this was.

It's takes an amazing stylist to give a perfect haircut that the style stands up for 5 months. Trust me, I lived in the valley for 25 years and the stylist I used were supposedly the best of the best. Between 6 week trims my hair style didn't stand up this well. Iam counting the days until I can get my circumstances back to norm.... And get in there for my color and trim. Brandi is a rock star!!!
