I stopped into this little salon on a whim, after mulling over a very specific hair style idea for a month or so. I told the stylist exactly what I wanted, and asked her if she could do it. She said yes. And then, she proceeded to chop off all the bits I said I wanted to keep. On top of completely straying from what I said I wanted, my friend noticed that the hair at the back of my head was now lopsided (and not in a funky way).
The only thing I can think of to explain how this mess could've happened is that the stylist answered (and spoke on) the phone three times during the cut. So maybe that threw her flow off or something. But seriously, not a real good excuse.
Anyways. I pouted a bit, got my friend to straighten up the back, and now have a healthy sense of fear about taking action on future whims. I suppose it's a good lesson overall... But if you can learn vicariously through my tale and not have to get a horrible haircut yourself, please do. read more
