During the Week this pub/carvery is ideal for a cheap hearty meal out. It can get quite over crowded, but the food is usually good and at very good prices.
Thing to Note:
1) Cheap "all you can eat" meals available
2) Vegetarian options available
3) Wheelchair accessible throughout most of the building with toilets.
4) Join their Facebook page before you visit to get money off vouchers
5) Avoid Sunday Evenings (see below comments)
6) Child friendly but no indoor facilities other than baby changing, highchairs and a claw machine. (I believe there is a children's play area outside)
This being said we went on Sunday evening and were very disappointed the drinks were flat and had to be returned (without an apology from the server), The food had obviously been on the carvery side for quite a while and had deteriorated in quality and were quite honestly not very nice.
You pay more on a Sunday to eat at this pub and I will never go there again on this day, but that being said I have never had a problem during the week with the food. read more
