Poor customer service, poor communication, and sub par experience overall. Our former CPA recommended this firm as they had taken over most of their business when he retired. We scheduled an appointment, and met with a gentleman by the name of Loren who leaves much to be desired on first impressions. We waited 10 minutes past our appointment time with no explanation or reason, and when he did bring us back he couldn't even introduce himself properly. A rocky start at best. We were then insulted with the can you afford our services questions. I didn't realize we needed to show up in our finest apparel to receive a decent customer experience. He made an off the cuff comment as to how if we were expecting to pay $50 for tax services this wasn't the place. Clearly, we were there for a reason. Where can you pay $50 for taxes these days? After holding our taxes hostage for more than 43 days, and getting the run around numerous times as to why they were not yet completed, we finally had to pick up the tax folder and take it someplace else. When we asked the receptionist why they were not yet completed, we got the excuse they took on too much new business and didn't have enough staff to execute everyone's needs in a timely manner. To add insult to injury, we didn't even receive all of our tax information back. Our tax planner that we had used, and a few other pertinent documents were missing, leaving us to retrace our steps, and duplicate our efforts.
