Needed a replacement key fob. They insisted I HAD to have a specific one for my car, which they had in stock. I took it home to program and wasn't able to get it to work. I ended up taking it to a different business, turns out Haffner's doesn't know what they're talking about and gave me the wrong fob anyway. If I could give 10 stars I would because Haffner's Lock and Key deserves it. Sunday night my keys got locked in our car. I placed a frantic call to Haffner's Lock and Key first thing Monday. I did not need the car to go to work. They were hear on time Tuesday. What a pleasure to work with a company with their work ethics, integrity, and care this company showed. I'm 65 years old and I've never seen such rude, weird people. Blank rude stare every time we've walked in. Only used their services a couple times, so it wasn't because of a prior problem. I will use their services because they are good at what they do. Just don't take their customer service personnel. They couldn't be nice or welcoming if someone told them to. We had locked ourselves out of our garage (lost the garage door remote) and when we bought the house, we weren't given a key to the (locked) garage. It was my husband's birthday, and of course, I had left his present in the garage. I called Haffner's (it was a Saturday) and they picked up the phone promptly. He told me he had one other house to visit, and then he'd be over in about 30 minutes. He not only unlocked the door, but he also made us a key (I didn't even ask him to!) and all of theirs cost around $20-25. Great service, great price. Thank you so much! read more

We are moving offices, so the job of new keys was put on my desk. I went to Lowe's and TWICE all 12 keys did not work. A lady in the office recommended Haffner's and I am SO GLAD she did. The next day, they met me at the new office and made me 12 perfect keys. It was actually cheaper than going to Lowes and the service was 100 times better. If you're from out of state - don't bother. They won't work with an out of state company regardless of paying them for services.

stay away!!!!! if you want to feel like your the biggest inconvenience and a incompatible human being, come here! they are absolutely thee rudest people i have met in my life and apparently there like that with a lot of folks!! they didnt even say a word, we asked the old man of the store for a "quote" on how much a key would cost, he said nothing walked out to our car, made a key and told us the price at the register!!! not what we asked! we should have just walked off when he started making the key! do yourself a huge favor, don't even make this place a last resort! seriously. these people are asking to go out of business, so lets help them out. :) read more

ABSOLUTELY the worst! I would not recommend them at all. Stephanie is extremely unfriendly, rude, and not accommodating at all. I have dealt with them twice now and there will never be a third. Both times were unpleasant. They have no business dealing with the public what so ever! read more
