The Last lady attorney in that firm did much labor of kindness toward us, and I do greatly appreciate her even though we had to spent much money at that firm to no avail. Mr. Michael Leban and Mr. Kumar took over my wife's difficult immigration case, which others had expressed thoughts that it will take a miracle to over come. Well, we believe GOD in the Name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST has the final say so in the matter. Mr. Michael Leban and Mr. Kumar were hospitable, knowledgeable, and hopeful. Eventually, GOD helped us thru the long 2- 3 years immigration process with the assistance of Mr. Michael Leban and Mr. Kumar to help my wife to get her a green card and eventually she became a naturalized US Citizen. First, I thank my GOD the LORD JESUS CHRIST for His Mercy, Love and Grace toward me and my family. Secondly, Thank you Mr. Michael Leban and Mr. Kumar for their professionalism and their work to help me and wife to be together with our children.

We contacted this office and scheduled an appointment for a free consultation. A few days later we arrived at the appointed time. We were greeted by a pleasant woman who seated us in the conference room of the small office suite. The suite isn't large but it's attractive and comfortable. Mr. Kumar soon arrived and we got down to business. The attorney was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He was patient with us and answered our questions and offered advice. Ultimately he suggested for what we wanted to accomplish we really didn't need to retain the firm but could do the work ourselves. He gave us a brief rundown of the process and let us know that if we wanted to hire them to handle things they would be happy to help but we could save a lot of money by doing it ourselves. I appreciated his advice and honesty. We are now planning to handle things ourselves but it's comforting to know that Leban & Associates is available if we get in over our heads.

THIS is what a law firm should be -- people over billable hours. Thank you, Melone Hatley, for being there when I needed you.

On multiple occasions, I requested that my spouse be contacted. I was told this would happen, but to my knowledge, it never did. I was also asked to spend significant time preparing financial documents, narratives, and other case information. Later, while preparing my settlement, I was repeatedly asked for the same information by phone and text. I was told it was "cheaper for you to just answer my questions," which made the time I invested gathering those materials feel unnecessary. Despite investing nearly $10,000 in legal fees, I did not feel my case made meaningful progress toward mediation or divorce. My biggest concern was the lack of communication. Even after requesting it by phone and in writing, I was never provided a clear timeline, an explanation of the process, or realistic expectations for next steps. Navigating separation after experiencing a physical attack by my spouse was already extremely difficult. During that time, I needed proactive communication, guidance, and confidence that my case was moving forward. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I left feeling disappointed by the lack of follow-through, transparency, and overall case management.
