I went to Mr. Spevack for a simple lease agreement. He failed to respond to the opposing attorney…read morewith my demands. I called his office and he "stepped out" and was promised I would get a call back. I waited for 2 days and called back again since I did not hear back and was told that he is out for lunch and to call back in an hour. This went on for couple of hours and I finally reached Mr. Spevack and I asked if he responded to my landlords lawyer with our demands and he said he sent it to the landlord. Needless to say, my future landlord was very concerned at the moment because its been 3 weeks since sending over the lease agreement and had no response. He threatened to lease out the unit to someone else. I convinced him that this was all a misunderstanding and I will fire my lawyer and deal directly with his lawyer. I called Mr. Spevacks lawfirm immediately this time he would out of the office for medical reasons which he may or may not return for the day. I finally spoke to him the next day and I said I would like him to withdraw counsel. A week later, I reach out to my landlord and he says that his attorney didn't receive the letter that he withdrew counsel. I called back and again Mr. Spevack was no where to be found, they wanted me to leave voicemail in hopes of having him call me back, I insisted I speak to someone and I finally spoke to the "Assistant" & "Office Supervisor" who said that the lawyer only sends the letter to the client and it was sent 2 days ago, and when I asked if this timeframe is normal, she said yes, there was a long weekend even though this was requested a week ago. She also insisted that the notice only goes to me and not the opposing lawyer. I asked her about my retainer and she said I would have to speak to Mr. Spevack - Good luck with that. Keep my $600 for doing nothing but making me lose out. The only recommendations he has is from someone that working for him and his own son on Avvo. Its time to hang up the hat Mr. Spevack.

Within a month or so all my liar did was try to convince me to take the settlement of my under insured policy. I declined for about 3 years until I finally caved in, do to loosing the home I built from the ground up and wasn't able to work in the business and trade that I started working in since 1978. All Levinson Axelrod did was miss lead me and take $83,333.3333 for probably doing about a weeks worth of work making a few phone calls and a few pages of paper work. THANKS FOR NOTHING.
