Dear Ms. "L":
I am Mr. Mian's paralegal and happened to come across your "review" of Mr. Mian last week. To the best of my knowledge, yours is the first negative "review" of Mr. Mian or our law firm ever. Upon reviewing the law firm's records and drawing upon my personal recollection, I confirmed that, upon the referral of the father of a longstanding and dear client of the law firm, you met with Mr. Mian in consultation at our Fair Haven office on March 26 and July 16, 2018. I was in the office on both occasions. Following the first appointment, Mr. Mian advised you to secure supplemental documentation, including medical bills in your possession, correspondence from Medicare and other insurance sources, as well as, photographs of the accident scene and schedule a follow-up. Unfortunately, when the follow-up occurred on July 16, 2018, you did not have any supporting material with you, but instead brought news of the sad and untimely death of our former client. Understandably, Mr. Mian was upset at learning the news of the untimely death of our former client and politely excused himself. He then requested that the consultation be adjourned and continue on a later date. Thereafter, although you called the office on August 15 and September 19, 2018 and spoke with Mr. Mian on at least one of those occasions, at which time you were encouraged to return to the office with the requested documentation previously discussed, including photographs, you never returned, or for that matter ever scheduled the new appointment. Therefore, since you neither are, nor have you ever been a client of our law firm, Mr. Mian did not have the authority to represent your interests, concerning your matter. It was only upon reading your "review," that first I and then he realized your dissatisfaction. I will refrain from responding to the untrue and undignified remarks you have unfortunately chosen to make and instead, on behalf of our law firm, wish you well in your recovery and future endeavors. Thank you for consulting our law firm. read more
