YesAmazing! My visit to Fuji Kim's Sushi & Grill was an absolute delight from start to…read morefinish--truly one of the best sushi experiences I've had in a while. Tucked away at 2830 Richmond Rd in Texarkana, this family-owned gem delivers fresh, flavorful Japanese cuisine that punches way above its weight, rivaling spots in much bigger cities. We started with the chef's special roll, which was a creative explosion of textures and tastes: crispy tempura, creamy avocado, and perfectly seasoned tuna that melted in your mouth, all wrapped in vibrant rice and topped with a zesty sauce. It was so inventive and delicious that we ordered a second one halfway through the meal! The sashimi platter was another highlight--each piece was impeccably fresh, with the salmon and yellowtail shining in their simplicity, served with ginger and wasabi that complemented without overpowering. For something grilled, the teriyaki chicken was tender, juicy, and glazed to perfection, paired with steamed veggies that added a nice crunch. The portions were generous but not overwhelming, and everything arrived hot and beautifully presented on sleek plates that made the meal feel elevated. The service was spot-on and genuinely warm; our waiter was super knowledgeable about the menu, patiently explaining pairings and even suggesting a vegan option for my friend that turned out to be a hit. The staff moved with efficiency even on a busy evening, refilling drinks without hovering and checking in just enough to make us feel cared for. It's clear the family (shoutout to Andy and team) pours their heart into this place--consistent quality over years, as locals rave about. As for the ambience, it was cozy and inviting with a modern Japanese vibe: soft lighting, tasteful decor with subtle nods to tradition, and enough space to feel relaxed without being echoey. The gentle hum of conversation and faint clink of chopsticks created the perfect backdrop for a casual date night or group outing, and the outdoor seating option looks tempting for warmer days. Overall, this spot nails the balance of authentic flavors, attentive hospitality, and comfortable surroundings. I'd rate my experience a full 5 stars and am already planning my next trip--highly recommend for anyone craving top-tier sushi in Texarkana!

Unfortunately the other rolls were skimpy on ingredients and did not stick together very well when trying to eat them. The service here is alway top notch and the servers are very attentive. I saw that they have a Bulgogi Burger on the menu. I may have to venture into the Korean portion of the menu next time.

They definitely did a great job with the decorations! When we looked at the menu, I noticed everything was really affordable--from the appetizers to the entrees and drinks. Our server was super sweet and attentive. She checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. I got myself some hot tea since I was sick. It was just a tea bag, but it was actually pretty good. I also noticed their sauce bottles and seasoning containers were really clean, which I always appreciate. This is what we got: * A8. Ika Maru Yaki: A whole grilled squid drizzled with their house sauce and marinade. I absolutely loved this one. $10 for a whole grilled squid is such a good deal! At festivals, you usually pay around $15 for half of one, and honestly, they don't even taste that good. Naruto did an amazing job with this dish. I just wish it had a little more char, but that's just my personal preference. * A12. Geso Fry: Crispy and delicious. I really liked the chili powder (I think) they sprinkled on top. * R11. Udon: This came with lots of vegetables, which I love, plus a poached egg, squid, shrimp, naruto, and two shrimp tempura. The poached egg was a little overcooked, but it wasn't a big deal. The broth was so good--it had sweetness from the vegetables and a nice seafood umami flavor. Definitely recommend trying this one. * D9. Gyu-don: My husband was excited to order this since it's one of his favorite dishes. The egg was cooked well, but he personally prefers a runnier yolk. Overall, it was still a decent bowl. Overall, we had a great experience. Especially for a small town like Monroe with a relatively small Asian community, I think it's amazing they're able to open a place like this and introduce more people to Asian cuisine. We'll definitely be back!

I have tried the miso soup as well as the milk tea, the Naruto fruit tea with popping mango bubbles, the chicken bun, the dumplings, and the shrimp balls. I loved everything but the shrimp balls.
