Very impressed by this local breakfast spot in Melbourne with prices that can't be beat! We met up…read morewith an old friend to catch up while we were in the area, and he recommended this place. They have the hot griddles built into the tables so that you can make your own pancakes which is what they're known for. We didn't have to wait for a table and the service was pretty quick. I started with a blood orange mimosa (only $6.95) and it was a very generous size. For my entree, I got the 2-pancake stack breakfast combo. I opted for the lemon poppyseed pancakes (which the kitchen cooks), cheesy eggs, and bacon. My husband got the southern breakfast, and our friend got one of their scramble skillets. Everything was amazing!

I joke of course, hipster is the theme, but of course they welcome everyone. And everyone should come. Staff is great. The place is clean and we loved the decor. Mostly, we loved our dishes. I had the shaved ribeye. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Loved the roll and Cole slaw. Now if they had some creamy horseradish for it, homerun. All in all, an excellent Sammy. My wife had the pulled pork Bennie. I am not a fan of pulled pork, but I must admit my fork wandered over to the plate a few times. She loved the dish as well. It was so big, we took half home. And there is where I may have finished it without permission. LOL. I really wish Yelp had the half star option. 4 1/2 is more appropriate. Go here. You won't be disappointed.

We kicked things off with the Bruschetta, which was phenomenal. The Focaccia it was served with was truly out of this world--soft, airy, and paired perfectly with the bruschetta and vinaigrette. I sampled both sides of the menu, opting for a pasta on night one and pizza on night two. Both were delicious and well-executed, proving that you really can't go wrong with their main courses. The showstopper for je though was the desserts. Crème Brûlée was perfectly executed with a classic finish.but the Basque Cheesecake was the star of the entire weekend. It was incredibly creamy and smooth--hands down the best Basque cheesecake I have ever had. On top of the delicious food, service was excellent too and a wonderful environment. The ower took his time to visit every table and make sure you were having a good time. Can't recommend Jolie enough and will definitely be coming back!

Jorgensen's General Store was built between 1892 and 1894 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was a Seminole Indian trading post, telegraph office, and the first post office in Central Florida. It is also reported to be haunted and has been investigated by the Florida Bureau of Paranormal Investigations. They have posted some videos related to their findings online. Grant Station has Rib City, a 70-seat barbecue restaurant, Old Grant Creamery, an ice cream shop inside of Rib City, Island Paddle, where visitors can buy or rent kayaks and stand-up paddle boards to tour the Indian River Lagoon, and a barn for special events such as weddings. The Rib City franchise started in 1989 in Fort Myers, and has since grown to include 14 barbecue restaurants in Florida and multiple other locations across the country. I had Rib City at Grant Station Bookmarked for a long time for the historic nature of the building but I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful service and delicious food. Menu items include baby-back ribs, pulled pork and barbecue chicken, and side dishes such as onion rings and macaroni and cheese. BBQ is smoked on site daily and sides and dressings are made in house. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and they offer take out and catering. I recommend dining in if you can though. The dining area is filled with carefully curated and quirky antiques Pozgar has collected to replace the ones that were sold off by the previous owner of the building. My server was Kyle who was very welcoming and friendly. He kept the sweet tea flowing for this dehydrated gal. I had the sliced pork lunch special with macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and garlic bread. The serving was ample and the value was good. Most importantly the food was delicious. I was too full for the ice cream dessert. They used to make their own but recently switched to a supplier. Thank you to Christine from the Bensen House for her hearty endorsement of Rib City. With its storied past and tasty food, this restaurant is right up my alley.

I had my family in town and with a three year old we needed to stay close to home. The waitress was nice. Our martinis were good. We ordered spinach and artichoke dip which seemed to be missing the spinach and artichoke, just thick cheese. The chips were super greasy. We also ordered garlic bread which was good, large pieces filled with cheese and garlic. For our entrees two of us ordered fish and chips. The crust was super greasy, the fish was white and tender and a very generous portion. It was so large I only ate one French fry. My son and his wife ordered a Cesar salad with chicken. The lettuce was wilted and the chicken dry and burnt. They only took a few bites. We sat outside which was pleasant except for the sun blaring. They offered to roll down a shade which was nice. I'm hoping they try some new items. I know all about food costs so keeping a one paged menu is good but there needs to be some healthier choices that aren't greasy and overdone. I understand their Sunday brunch is good but I've never experienced it. I'll drive into Vero for better food until the menu improves.

Wow, we missed so many things about Crush! Those bacon-wrapped Medjool dates, the amazing cocktail program... so many things. My burger was new to the menu, and I can't remember the name, but let's just call it "the Butcher Burger," because I know it had a patty that was a mix of chorizo and venison, and maybe Wagyu? It was also topped with an egg and some smoky mayo. Regardless of what it was called, it was TO DIE FOR. My daughter had a huge wedge salad, and it was great. My wife's chive and Gruyère biscuit was awesome, and her strawberry-rhubarb cocktail was delicious. Honestly, we had such a good meal that we almost came back again for dinner just a few hours later on the same day! We didn't, but we will definitely be returning very soon!

We ordered the coffee crusted filet with cocoa demi-glace, smashed truffle potatoes and grilled broccolini for one dish, and the fresh catch of the day with coconut rice and pineapple salsa. Our server (forgot his name) was awesome as well. The whole experience made my birthday that much better!
