We had a wonderful experience at the Dolphin Research Center during our latest trip to the Keys. We…read moresigned up for a swim with the dolphins experience and were paired with Santini and trainer KJ. Summer and Calusa ended up joining us because they allow the dolphins to choose if they participate. They were all so eager to be there, it felt like they truly enjoyed their "swimming with the people" experience. KJ was an incredible trainer. Patient, knowledgeable, and thorough. We were 2 adults with 2 kids (ages 6 and 9) and she was so wonderful to work with. We got some great pictures from Sam and made memories that will last a lifetime. After we finished our experience, we ran around in the splash pad to rinse the salt water off and my kids enjoyed that. We also watched the sea lions practice all of their tricks and that was so fun to watch! I can't speak on just coming to the center without an experience booked since we swam with the dolphins, but I can say with that experience, we had a fabulous time!

We stopped in on a drive through the keys because we were tired of the tourist shops. We were…read moregreeted by two very sweet ladies. They explained that a church runs the shop to support a youth program. They had two racks of clothes that they had marked down to $1 and I found a few treasures. My fair skinned husband found a hat to wear to block the sun for $6 that he said would have cost him $30 new. They had lots of nice items that seemed nearly new. The name fits the shop!

I really appreciate how nicely they fold everything and are discreet about your clothing from panties, bras, socks and clothing. Most people don't feel comfortable placing their undergarments in a laundromat, but they truly do handle them with care. I loved this place throughout my four week stay for work.

My husband kindly agreed to go to the laundromat while I was enjoying my toes in the warm sand sipping slushy pina coladas. (Not bad!) He said the attended was so incredibly friendly and helpful. She volunteered to help him get rolling with our laundry, switch to dryers and even fold! He was all in and beyond grateful. He said the place was clean and pleasant and that he would volunteer to do laundry again if it was always that nice. Will that work at home? Hmmm.
