October 2023, Mallorca/Spain, lunch for 2:
What an excellent tapas place in Terranova ( between Palmanova and Magaloof). Great choice of Mediterranean dishes, all freshly cooked, tasty, with plenty of comfortable outdoor sitting, all of this at very low prices in comparison with an expensive stretch of eateries in this busy tourist location. We tried several appetizers ( all were 5 out of 5 except for calamari): falafel balls were excellent ( and I am not even a fan of falafels) - crispy on the outside, with perfect flavorful filling; eggplant dip with pita bread was creamy and full of flavors. Calamari rings we were fresh ( made from fresh, not frozen calamari) but lacked spices or even salt ( 4 out of 5). We also shared a mixed grill platter that came with French fries, salad and rice. It looks much bigger on the picture, so if you only order the mix platter and nothing else, it is for one person. If you order two or more tapas with it, it is plenty for two to share. Don't forget to finish your lunch with a cup of coffee or a glass of mint tea. Of course, baklava goes perfectly with either coffee or mint tea. We will be back to try other tapas on the menu read more
