We ordered: lavender margarita and silk road for drinks. - Crispy eggplant rainbow bowl (recommended on Reddit threads!) - Beef kofta rainbow bowl Both of our drinks were on the sour side. The Silk Road was super sour and not spicy at all. The lavender margarita was strong and you could taste the tequila, but I didn't get much lavender flavor. OMG, the crispy eggplant rainbow bowl was SO good! The eggplant was incredibly crispy and paired so well with everything in the bowl. Every bite was a punch of flavor, from the tangy pink slaw to the creamy zhug and hummus to the halloumi. I would have liked the halloumi to be a little crispier, but overall the bowl was SO good. I tried my aunt's beef kofta bowl too, but the crispy eggplant was definitely the more flavorful one. If you're all about texture in your food like me, this is the dish for you!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly welcome from the owner. The store was very clean, organized, and well laid out, with a great selection of Middle Eastern foods, spices, condiments, meats, fresh produce, and more. There's also a fresh meat section in the back. I purchased a whole chicken and asked the butcher if he could cut it up for me, and he gladly did--excellent service! Then I discovered the restaurant in the back. The menu looked so good that I couldn't leave without trying something. I ordered a family-style platter to take home, and it was a HIT. For $48, we received three different meats, rice, beautifully grilled vegetables, homemade hummus, pita, and sauce. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The best part? The platter was more than enough to feed my family of five. For the quality, quantity, and price, you really can't beat it. Great food, great service, a clean market, and excellent value. I will definitely be back!

Will be returning for it again. Fries are the way I like them personally. Obviously cut in house and just fried. The green house-made hot sauce is amazing. It's what reminds me of the shops in the DC area. Sometimes called chutney, it's a cilantro/jalapeño sauce with maybe a little yogurt as the base. The falafel was great.
