Doner sandwich run strikes again- this time at Habibi's. After touring the city of Berlin on foot one must rehydrate with a huge meal, Habibi's will do take care of your needs for just €2.75. Me.Winning.Again. Great pita sandwich with loads of meat. You're probably wondering if my taste buds are diluted by now from all the diners I've put away in the past week. Nope. On the contrary it's getting stronger. Habibi's was excellent. Meat was seasoned just right with perfect amount of cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and hummus, all stuffed in a pita. The hot pepper didn't have much heat. If anything it was on the saltier side. I thought about taking a picture of my pita sandwich but was too hungry to pause, oh well. Absolutely delicious and served with warm, friendly service too. I walked here from my hotel to get some food that sounded familiar. I'm so glad I persisted and don't give up because I got a bit turned around. The flavors of the schwarma, falafel and salads were perfect. The texture of the humus was just right. Even the desert baklava was worth every calorie. I have a feeling I will be back here before I leave Berlin in 3 days. read more

I noticed this place had a long line, and they were fast moving. I got a fully loaded pita type sandwich, sharwarma? One of the best Falafel spots in Berlin. I used to go to this place with my mom like 20 years ago, and I have been in love with their food ever since. As a kid, I used to like the Shawerma the best, but as I grow older I am now more fond of their Falafel. I have lived in Shoneberg for a few months now and have tried all of the falafel places... I can now confidently say that Habibi is the best in my opinion. Now by best I mean a combination of a couple factors: the food is good, it is extremely quick, it is very moderately priced and the costumer service is more than adequate. If you are looking for a quick, good, affordable meal near nollendorfplatz, this is the place to go. Why did I give it only three stars? Well, let's be honest: It's a take out falafel joint-- it's not going to blow you away or anything. They deep fry balls of humus and pour a bunch of yoghurt on it and that's pretty much it. But again: it tastes good and it's cheap. When the GF and I go here, we split a humus teller and a shwarma teller which totals 7€ and fills us up fine. This is not your typical Doner/Schawarma stand. Really exceptional food and really reasonably priced. Order at the counter and they will quickly make you a plate. We ordered a mixed plate for two people and it was too much food, but perfect to try everything. Crisp and flavorful falafel, creamy hummus, Lebanese style tabouleh (more parsley than bulgur). the only thing that threw me was a potato pocket filled with mixed veggies, true German-MidEast fusion. If you are looking for a cheap place in the night to get your arabian style snack and watch Berlin nightbirds Habibi is the place. The restaurant has a spartanic interior with only a few high desks and benches to sit on. You can also sit outside. Arabian style musik and caligraphic desings on the walls set the scene. The Falafel is ok. My favorite is the hummus and tebule salad (grinded chickpeas and parsley). They have no english menu but you can point out at the desk what you want to have. Since I put up what must be the 1000th review of Mustafa's, I should also mention that Habibi is a good place to get falafel. The upside relative to Dada is that I live a lot closer to it. (By "it", I really mean the Akazienstr location which is, from a food perspective, identical to the Winterfeld Platz one.) The downisde is that they don't sell mojitos. read more
