You'll also get a heated towel treatment and razor to clean up your beard for a cleaner detail of your facial hair. I'm not sure if it's always available for customers, but I received a 10% discount on my haircut (€49,75) after booking and paying. During my time at District Barber, I had a great chat with Geoffrey, who listened to my request for a fade and to keep my lines natural. He also offered good recommendations for places to visit in and around Amsterdam. Since it was a week since my last haircut from my barber back home, Geoffrey could follow the fade lines from my last haircut without changing my fade/style. Geoffrey was detailed and took his time with the haircut, so expect to be in the chair for about an hour. Before Geoffrey was finished, he applied beard oil and brushed off any remaining hair before allowing me to see the final results. The fade was clean and well-blended. He listened to my desire to reduce wild hair over my ears, trimmed the ponytail to reduce split ends and did a fade with my beard and hair. Very impressive creativity. The District Barber is in the middle of the Red Light District and close enough to coffee shops or pubs, but offer water, coffee, beer or wine as you enter.
