As well as doing a great array of craft beer this place is also a sort of restaurant that seems to do a lot of fish. The decor inside was like it was designed a bit like the inside of a ship which probably explains the fish connection. When we walked in the smell of Fish and chips was great (in my non allergic opinion) it it was though, bloody strong. Anyways we were just there for the craft beer and we were not disappointed. There was loads of Taps (10 plus) and load of bottles to. We had some great beers including an amazingly named "winter in Bangalore" IPA. The array of beers was top notch, the price as per the norm in Oslo was bonkers, but in general we had a great afternoon. I welcome gründers and especially when it comes to beer…read more The brewery has a store open parts of the week and you can buy Sagene Brewery merchandise along with checking out the actual brewery. The location once was part of a cotton factory and the history of the building is unique. I think it's great that a local company again creates life and produce in the building. There will be a bar here according to one of the owners and it is possible to order events there I.e sample tastings. The guys are very nice and gladly tell you about their different brews while there. I welcome the pub and beer tasting and am sure Sagene is a stayer!
