Although I live in Stockton, close to the marina, I have never really explored the water in the area by boat. I spoke with the rental people in person a couple of times to find out "the detail"... And this morning took my eight-year-old granddaughter out for an hour on a tandem kayak. it was a perfect activity for grandpa, relaxing for us both, enjoying nature and gentle easy conversation ensued. The pricing of rentals, is competitive, or even lower than some of the other facilities in Lodi and other places etc. what helped me make the decision about renting here, was the fabulous customer service from both Vern and Shawn. friendly, detailed, helpful... Made a reservation for 4th of July and had a blast. Called prior and Ashley was amazing answering all my questions. When we arrived we were greeted by Vernon who was also great. I think regardless where you go renting a jet-ski will always be pricy just because of all the rules on the water itself. For an hour with the lowest insurance and gas we spent $170. But like I mentioned we had a blast. It was fun cruising on the delta. This is definitely a hidden gem in Stockton. They also have boat rentals and a boat with a captain for large parties which seemed very affordable for large parties. I can't wait to go back. read more

Booking: Booking each activity was really easy; the website is easy to navigate and really simple. I am a person who likes to ask clarifying questions and the Captain was extremely patient with me. Arrival: Upon our arrival, our excursions were ready for us to depart. I am a timely woman so I loved that we were ALWAYS able to start and end our excursions on time. Hydrobikes (6.18.21): We did not know what to expect. We booked 10 bikes (single and tandems). I probably should have booked 1 hour as Captain Kevin but I booked 2 hours. We all had an amazing time doing something we've never done before. Pontoon w/ tube (7.2.21): The Pontoon was perfect for my family. We were nervous about driving the Pontoon ourselves since none of us have ever driven a boat but Captain Kevin directions were very simple. It was 4th of July weekend so it was busy. However, everything he told us about (stay away from the roadways, stay in the middle, go into the wave, etc.) was all applicable for our excursion. Our kids had an amazing time on the tube. The premium pontoon was spacious and perfect for our family of 10 (3 adults & 7 kids). Our kids would love to do this again. When we do, we have to get a larger tube because our kids never wanted to get out of the water. Captained Charter (7.8.21): My girlfriends and I had an amazing time relaxing on the Cruiser Yacht. It was just what we needed! The back side of Discovery Bay was beautiful. It rides so smooth and the sound system is nice. Seating was extremely comfortable for 4 adults although there is enough room for at 2 more. We had free range to move about as we desired. The Bow Area was large enough for each of us to sit comfortably; tranquil! The Captain was nice, friendly, and professional. The 4 hours went by extremely fast; too fast. We plan on booking again soon for either a double date or another ladies day out; maybe both. read more

Very happy with the service we received from Shawn and Vern at H20 Excursions. When we arrived, they had our rental ready to go right on the dock. We had young children with us (ages 2.5 to 10 years old) and they made sure to fit them all properly with life vests. Awesome customer service! We were late they were flexible. Despite us being late they took the time out to explain how the oars and paddle board worked, didn't rush us through our reservation at all. After explaining how the board worked and mounting us my son was uncomfortable and they switched us out, no problem at all. They followed all Covid guidelines and made our experience exceptional. These guys are GREAT! Very easy reservation online system, great selection of watercraft to rent, and great customer service from start to finish. Their location on the 14-mile slough also affords a great place for beginners to try out a SUP or kayak (Instruction provided, if needed). All in all, a fun place to go for some sun and quiet time on the water or a fun activity with friends or a date.
