I came at 3:30ish on a Saturday and was one of a couple people there. I didn't have to wait in line, they took my car immediately. The guy that took my car and my card to pay was very nice. The Detailing: They blow out the interior with a compressor so all the little stuff that gets between the seats was out. They have a tire scrubber and they wipe down the rims. I saw at least 3 guys do the interior and they were quick but also efficient. They easily spent 15 minutes making my car look brand new. They cleaned the sunroof. I've never paid attention to whether or not they did it other places but this place does. read more

Brought my car to get showroom detailed since we bought the car used. Their detail work exceeded my expectation. They buffed out all the scratches on the door that were caused by dog paws and some rock chips. They cleaned out all the crevices and wow the detail work on the engine was outstanding!! Today at 11:31 AM I paid for the H20 Auto Spa, Supreme Wash Plus which includes the Underbody Blast. When I pulled out of the wash my gas peddle was stuck and sped up causing me to run across the curbs blowing out 2 of my tires & nearly running into a tree. 9 minutes later at 11:40 AM I was forced to pull into the Just Tires, 2 blocks away to replace two tires. Spoke with Tony the manger who said it was impossible that the car wash caused my gas peddle to stick & refused to discuss anything since they weren't driving my car. He suggested that my floor mat probably caused the gas peddle to stick. My car is a Volvo and floor mats are bolted into place. read more

Worst car wash I've been to by FAR I paid for the $14 wash and they did not wash the front half of my car... there were two gentlemen that hand dried/tire shined and not one of them told me my car was still dirty, I did not realize this until I got home. I know we live in a very high feed back society and we base decisions and reviews on services we receive based on the information we read. Sometimes not truly knowing,evaluating the situation or circumsatnces srrounding the event when we decide to provide feedback or write reviews. Although i'm not really big on writing reviews, I do feel a sense of commitment to write them when I feel a business or person has gone out of their way to provide exceptional customer service. I can modestly state that H20 is one of those businesses that constantly delivers exceptional work and exceptional customer serivce. I have known Tony and his team for many years, they ALWAYS do a fantastic job when it comes to autombile cleaning and detailing. I am saddened to read some of these less than positive reviews about H20. It is very hard for me to believe that H20 would under perform. For me and those who I have sent over to H20 have never felt H20 exhibied anything less then excellent service. I am extremly picky when it comes to autombile appearence and again I have to riterate that H20 always out performs any other automobile washes. Perhaps some of these negative reviews were only an isolaed incident . As once again I can state that they are extremely good at what they do, offer exceptional cusomer service and is worth the price paid for any wash package you purchase. I would highly recommend those who felt they had less the exceptional service go back and give H20 a second chance. I've been coming here for over 10 years as well as my family. Tony and his crew have always taken excellent care of my vehicles and their detailing issues. Back a year ago when I wasn't near the car someone dropped a can of some type of clear substance near my brand new car and it splashed all over the driver side and even in the interior since I had the windows down. It was easily over 100 degrees and sunny that day with the humidity and the car was black. NOT GOOD! I was in full panic mode when I came out to the car because the substance was drying up like paint. I was nowhere near home and didn't know of any reputable detailers in South Elgin. So I randomly raced to two places hoping they could help and I ended up getting the exact opposite response, no help at all. Meanwhile while this is going on it's not getting any better outside with the sun and the heat. I decided to leave Elgin and go to where I felt I had the best chance of saving the car as opposed to making an insurance claim. I was lucky to show up to H20 and have Tony be the first person to greet me. I didn't even have to say anything to him because he saw the extent of the situation the moment I pulled up. Without even a hiccup he asked me to leave the car with him and his team and that they would do their best to try and fix the situation. With all the time that had passed between when I found the car splashed with the substance and when I dropped it off at H20 I was sure that nothing could fix the damage, but when Tony called me back a day later to pick the car up, I had no idea what I was in store for. To my amazement they were able to remove every splash mark and every little dot of the substance off the car! It was fully detailed and looked even better than the day I took it off the lot. I was absolutely blown away by how Tony and his team was able to take a situation that looked like it might cost me an insurance claim or $1000's of dollars into a situation that was professionally handled at an incredibly affordable cost. I'm writing this review today because I actually stopped in for a regular wash on a new vehicle and we reminisced about what had happened a year ago. H20 deserved to be applauded then and they deserve to be applauded now even on a basic wash. A business that will make you feel like they would drop everything to serve you especially in times of panic will have my business for life. That level of service, personability, and sincerity has literally gone extinct in this generation of self-serve robot minded customer service. H20 is also one of the only, if not the only, car wash in the area that offers a no questions asked 5 day clean car guarantee. If your car gets even one spec of dirt on it that you don't like just bring it back (with your receipt obviously) and they will run it through for an exterior wash and dry at no charge! If that's not standing behind your customers I don't know what is. Thank you H20 for always providing the absolute best service possible for the circumstances at hand. All these other negative reviews I would have loved to have seen the circumstances with the customer and the washes frequency of business that day. I had a great experience here. I had the complete detail and was not disappointed. The interior looks better than it did when I bought the car, and they got a bunch of the little knicks and scratches out of the pant. I feel like I'm driving a new car. I even had some completely unrelated car issues that just coincidentally happened right after the detailing (just my luck) and I left a message for the owner with some questions and he promptly returned my call and was helpful and receptive. Terrible service and horrible wash. Lots of people were around but no one was at the wash booth for a while. When he finally did, he acted like I was an inconvenience. I paid for the $12 Platinum was (supposed to deep clean my wheel wells) but my wells are still muddy and when I got out of the wash they were bone dry. Meaning no water or soap even touched it! Terrible management and customer service. Took my car in for a detail and was overcharged for a poorly done job. Dropped my car off on a Sunday and got it back the next day. Everything was still wet when I received the car, so I allowed it to dry for a day. Once I got in the car the next day and starting inspecting it, the car was dirty. For the amount of money I spent, I was expecting a well done job. I was in no rush to get the car back, but they had called me that my car was ready. I contacted them directly and was told I had to come in to talk to the manager before he left for vacation. When I arrived the following day, I was told " I came in too late" and the manager had left already. They didn't seem to try to work with me at all and were very dismissive. They refused to give me a refund and said if I wanted it re-cleaned I needed to wait a couple of week since they are "busy." Would not recommend their services, overpriced and poorly done. read more

Hire English speaking car detailers! I came in today to get their $40.00 car wash package for my Toyota Prius. My car has a permanently mounted high pole support bracket on the front bumper. My car has been through a ton of car washes with that support bracket on the front bumper without any complications. Today, the detail tech refused to wash my car despite the fact that this support bracket will not harm their car wash at all. He said he could do the inside of my car only, but refused the request to do the outside. This place sucks! I have a 2014 Ford Explorer and for the first time I decided to give ,,her" a full detailing service. They ruined my car. I don't know how or what polishing cream they used... or maybe the polishing machine but, entire front bumper is now exfoliated all over... small parts of paint are gone. The manager explanation is... my car had the bumper like that before coming in for service, and those missing paint spots are caused by normal driving !?!? I asked him to show me another car like mine but he avoided the answer. ------------------ Wow! The owner call me the next business day and we meet at the car wash location. As he said( and he is right) the communication is everything and in that day, with manager, wasn't. He shows me few cars(his car too) with the same ,, problem " ... he explained me the actions behind those chips in the front bumper . Reasonably priced , convenient for me and efficient. Always pretty busy but in and out fairly quickly. Staff is professional, I stick with the Basic wash but they offer upgraded options plus full detailing if you want to pay more. First off, they got rid of their 20 dollar package and didn't tell anyone. The 20 dollar package was barely worth it, the car washes in Chicago charge 20 dollars for HAND WASH and interior, unlike this place which has machine wash and then hand clean the exterior. Secondly, they replaced it for 45 dollars for an SUV and 40 for a car. And I didn't realize it until I got there and it was too late. Finally, I brought in two vehicles, one being an SUV and one being a care so why would you charge me 45 dollars for a car and 45 dollars for an SUV? YOU RIPPED ME OFF. Overall, good experience. I received the internal/external car wash package for $24. This package was a little too pricey for my taste. Nonetheless, the car was clean and I was out of there in 17 minutes and 48 seconds. My husband has OCD and he timed the service from inception to completion. First and last time I'll be back here. I got the exterior/interior wash. The interior of my car was worse after they washed it. They simply sprayed my mats with water and when they flung it in my car, the water went all over leaving spots from water/salt all over my car. The back end of my car is still dirty and it didnt look like they even wiped the door jams. There are definitely swirl marks on my car which is less than a year old. Unfortunately, before winter I drove over a freshly paved road and sprayed tar all over the sides, rear hatch, wheels, tires, wheel wells, literally everywhere. I wanted to wait until winter was over to deal with it.... Made an appointment to get my CX-5 cleaned up. I got my car back the same day and I cant even believe how immaculate it looks now! I mean, they even got the tar out of the wheel wells and off the tire sidewalls... It looks incredible. I have been to several other places for car washes and they do an exceptional job outside and inside. I need a much needed car wash and interior cleaning. They went above and beyond with my car. I never spent 40.00 on a car wash before, but it was well needed since I haven't touched my car in ages outside or inside. I am usually a clean guy so I never really needed the inside clean, but I decided that with the salt from winter and with my only day off I said what the heck. 45 minutes to clean with the top wash. My 2nd attempt...not fantastic. I went during the week wanting to get the express detailing for 40.00. They were experiencing technical difficulties so I had to leave. I went today (Saturday) and waited in line and was told they were backed up and couldn't do the express detail. I asked for the best car wash instead which was 16.00. I guess I thought that since I had wanted my car to be detailed, he would have suggested something similar, but it was an exterior wash only. I never got out of the car! I could have gone to Three Oaks for the same price and had the interior vacuumed and cleaned properly. I don't plan on giving it another try. read more
