From there it flows 2ft per sec until it makes its way to a Lift Station that pumps water to a higher elevation which pushes water back out to the gravity feed sewer to continue on to a Waste Water treatment facility. After reaching the facility Operators then treat the water 24 hours 7 days a week that was so carelessly flushed. It's a thankless job but I'm sure the certified men and women performing this dirty little secret love what their doing.
