This was probably my least pleasant hotel stay in Europe in a while. The hotel is in Sant Cugat…read moretech park area, a drive from downtown, and it's a boring Holiday Inn Express, but that's to be expected, especially for the price.
The staff were friendly and spoke great English (and presumably lots of other languages). There's plenty of outdoor parking. The entire property seemed clean.
However, the wifi was essentially unusable. The walls between rooms were very thin, leading to noise all night. There were minor maintenance issues in my room (bathroom fixtures, hvac); I'm a platinum elite with ihg so presumably I got one of the better rooms, which means other rooms might be worse. The breakfast looked unimpressive (maybe I've been spoiled by other hotels in the area), so I skipped it.
I had a 2-night stay booked, but the hotel let me check out a day early with no hassle, so I went to another hotel. I would not return, and would not recommend this property.
