Poke bowl

3 servings of rice in a bowl with scarce salmon/tuna For $14 I mostly paid for rice it's insane

I love this H Mart because I can do a quick 2 stop grocery run with Trader Joe's just a block away. I come here for my Asian produce, and I appreciate that it's never too crowded, clean, and well maintained. I also love that they always stock BBQ's spicy wings, which the 110th Street location never seems to have. The only downside is that H Mart has stopped carrying many Korean brands I always look for. For example, the selection of red pepper powder, a staple in Korean cooking, is very limited. I wish they would offer both Korean brands and US made alternatives for all items, giving customers more choices.

Delighted to have H Mart in the area! As other reviewers have said, they have great products including Ice cups and drinks which is so nice in the hot weather. My favorite items include the bulgogi onigiri. HBAF almonds, rice crackers and today I tried the BBQ boneless chicken which was very fresh and crispy. Great place to stop for snacks and drinks. I did buy some produce but found it to be expensive. They did have reasonably priced eggs and if you shop the manager's specials which rotate frequently you will do well.

H mart, an Asian grocery store. Located on 70 Street and Amsterdam Avenue the food is great. It has like all the things. But the people work there their attitude is bad. The cashier. I only give a three.

Rice bowl was good they had many options to add in and the tteokbokki was great too. Lot of choices for onigiri and other hot foods as well that I need to try.

H MART HAS POUCH DRINKS AND ICE CUPS!! You know the ones you see in Korean convenience store videos? Yeah, well H Mart's got 'em, along with ice cups (in case you didn't read my first sentence). We got a few pouches, and so far, the Cantabile Peach Iced Tea and Green Grape Ade are my favorites. They're so fruity and refreshing, a tad on the sweeter side, but perfect if you dilute with a bit of water or let the ice melt for a while. I can't wait to try the rest of the flavors! Recs: - Cantabile Peach Flavored Iced Tea - Cantabile Green Grape Flavored Ade

Excited for this to open in the upper west side. K town was the closest one which was always a trek. I went on the grand opening and it was BUMPING with people. It's extremely clean and loaded with goods . It's nit a cheap market, but has high quality meats and so many good snacks.

Creepy security guards that try to flirt with you while you shop. 110th location is way better because you don't have to deal with that.

I wish it contained something like kimchi to add a bit of zing to each bite.

I'm very particular about where my seafood comes from, so I did some digging and discovered Aqua Best. Steven, the owner, runs a family-focused operation, and the difference is clear: he and his team are exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. The market itself has a clean, inviting feel with no off-putting odor, which is a huge plus. Their staff genuinely knows their seafood and can answer questions with confidence. Aqua Best also supplies seafood to some of New York City's top fine-dining restaurants, which speaks to the quality and consistency you can expect. I decided to give them a try and left with Bronzino, Snapper, and Gulf Shrimp. All three were superb--fresh, well-prepared help in selecting portions, and clearly handled with care. If you're picky about seafood quality, provenance, and customer service, Aqua Best is worth a visit.

This spot came as a recommendation by a friend and has become my go-to for caviar The Noms: I always get 30-100g of their ossetra caviar depending on the occasion and how large my party is. Most often I get the 30g as a treat for one. Last occasion was for the Stranger Things season 5 finale on New Year's Eve. A steak and some mini potatoes made for the perfect girl dinner. In Conclusion: I've been going here since my friend recommended it in 2024. Love it for the quality and the price. I've been gate keeping it but now feel like it would be wrong not to share this awesome spot. Also, service is quick and polite and they took the time to answer all my Qs on my first few visits.

If you…read moretake his advice or the crabs he chooses, you're guaranteed to wind up paying the most for the lowest quality ones. I went to buy in-shell scallops and he said to "pick the heaviest ones, they have more meat" but what he really means is they're packed with sand. Funny enough, he didn't try giving me this advice the next time I went to buy and looked in the crack to see if they're full of sand. Also went to buy female blue crabs and he wanted to choose them, he spent like 5 minutes digging through the bucket and 5/6 of the crabs were totally empty inside (you can feel if they're hefty when picking). No idea why customers aren't allowed to pick their own crabs but he can dig and dig and throw them around. I'm familiar with picking seafood and gave him the benefit of the doubt two separate times before I realized he's trying to sell off the worst products and that benefit of the doubt is undeserved. He got an attitude real quick when I told him I'd like to grab my own blue crabs so I left. Spend your money elsewhere.

I plan on making a Liberian palm butter sauce with a new twist by only using seafood rather than the traditional mixture of a bit of shrimp and fish mixed with chicken, beef and pork. There is a nice and helpful man who you tell what you want and he puts your seafood in a bag and prices it for you before you pay at the cash register.

I highly recommend coming with a large group so you can try a bit of everything. They also offer an option to pay an extra $45 to take your leftovers home, which is absolutely worth it. I ended up with so much food that my fridge is still full. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to others.

The lobster is a little chewy, but the spicy claws were very flavorful. All of the crab had so much meat and the seasonings were all amazing. Surprisingly, the iron steak was one of our favorites despite this being a seafood spot. The waiter did say to just check mark the paper instead of quantities, but they end up bringing you 2 of everything you order. The sweet & spicy fish is also very solid, garlic noodles were buttery, and even their iced tea was super refreshing. Could not recommend this place more!! Bonus: they play a great 2000s throwback playlist that got us singing along and dancing while we were peeling all our seafood to pass the time. Shoutout to whichever employee put that playlist together!
