You have to book appointments very far in advance as it is so busy. There are 2 dental rooms there. Treatments are available on the NHS or privately. They offer all sorts of treatments for example: fillings, root canal treatment, caps, veneers, tooth whitening, false teeth and polishing teeth. The dentist I use is very good and puts you at ease whilst you are there. It is expensive to have treatments done, but I choose to have private work instead of NHS. It is worth it.

The Baillieston Dental Care practice is located inside the Baillieston Health Centre, one of the many amenities that the centre offers. They recently took on a new dentist and advertised to register new patients, so my parents and I signed up. Private care is just too expensive without insurance, and here the check-ups are free. After my initial check-up, which didn't take long, they brought me back in for a scale and polish, x-rays, and a small filling. It cost £24 in total, which isn't bad at all. Since it's NHS, you can claim benefits and/or save money if you are under 19 and/or a full time student. Unfortunately I'm not part of that bracket, but I was surprised. Since I've never had an NHS dentist before, I don't really have a point of reference with which to compare. It was quick, the staff are friendly, and overall I have no complaints.

We have been going to this dentists for quite a few years now…read more A few years back there was a change of dentist, the layout was changed and modernised to change the whole look and feel of the place. Since I work about 30 miles from home I need to have late appointments. The receptionist and dentist realise that and always ensure that this is never an issue. ( There is quite a few others in the same situation) At my last visit I turned up early and since the dentist was quiet at the time (not often that happens) I managed to get my checkup done early. The annoying thing about the practice is constantly being asked to clarify your details every visit and the NHS text messages which remind you of the day of the appointment but not the time.

The waiting room is bright and has plenty of seating with a TV placed on the wall which shows different pieces of dental advice and the odd educational challenge for any children that may be waiting, it's a nice distraction and there is also a large window which helps you to relax a little. Any treatments i've had were fully explained to me beforehand and I was always told to put my hand up if I felt uncomfortable at any time, the dentists are always very patient and understanding and i've never found any issues with dental work that has been done.

This dental practice has moved from Millersneuk shopping centre to its new location just beside…read moreLenzie train Station, with a fresh new look & a few new faces however there are still the usual friendly ones behind the reception desk & helping with treatment & hyginest issues. This practice is very popular with families & staff are very good with young people. The only downside is sadly if your not in a demtal plan it could be expnsive.
