Beautiful stadium!!!!! SPARKS cheer leaders put on a fantastic show!!! Watched a soccer game and seating is great as you don't even need the large screen because you're so close to the field you can almost see the sweat on these men. Ok, back to the review! They have plenty of food options and beer on both sides of the stadium and even in between! They have kid stuff to partake in and it's fun for all. Lucky for us the weather was comfortable! I love coming here! It is such a fun place for any kind of group. It's perfect for families, big groups, date night, basically anything in. They usually have the RGV Toros games here but they also have other events like concerts. I've only gone for the toros games and they're a blast. It's not too expensive and it's something different. The place is big and very clean! Definitely recommend going. read more

H-E-B Park - Stadiums & Arenas Near Me - Edinburg, Texas

The park is nice, I have been twice now. But there are some issues. 1. I was not allowed to carry a small sling bag, about the size of a medium purse with jackets for me and my son. They said the rule was no backpacks. But women were carrying large purses in, so this seemed inconsistent to me. Also when the sun went down and got windy we really needed those jackets, but alas they were in the car. And guess what, no re-entry. 2. The lines to enter are chaos. 3. The traffic driving in was a huge mess. They needed a policeman directing traffic, because the light didn't allow for consistent flow. It's a nice park. The food is expensive like in a stadium. They do not allow any kind of food or drink in. This seems harsh. At every major league baseball stadium I have visited they allow you to bring things in. Why not a water bottle? I don't see how people with dietary restrictions would make it in here because the employees are not at all understanding. Nice facility, could use some work at being more customer friendly. read more

Do you like soccer? Did you know the RGV has its own USL league? That's right! If you love, play, coach or enjoy watching soccer you should definitely try and make it out to a game. The RGVFC Toros recently had a preseason game against their "parent" club Houston Dynamo. Two former Toros we recently signed to the Dynamo. This season kicks off with a new coach, and more players are being developed. This will be their 3rd season, but only the second in the newly built stadium at HEB Park. An exit on Freddy Gonzales and a quick right turn will get you there. It's hard to miss but worth a visit. Tickets are always available starting at just $5, and can run several hundred for season passes. The stadium is modern and features a 360 bar. It has 4 official concessions and offside vendors as well. When fully staffed everyone through the gates is treated like a VIP. I scored free tickets on a whim and explored it as something to do, and never stopped going back! My family and I made most, if not all, of last seasons home games. Players such as Drogba have visited with their USL team. I missed the chance to see Eduardo Vargas play but he has stepped foot on that green as well. A lot of talent has set foot there so far. I hope to see the team make it to the playoffs (as they did in their first season) this year. Even if you're not a soccer fan, it is still something new and different to do around the Valley. The stadium is top notch and has earned mentions in articles for its quality and architecture. If you haven't visited yet, plan a visit! Tickets can be purchased online with a convenience fee, or at the box office during the week before 5pm or on the night of the event. The team has a ways to go to build up a solid fan base but there are still plenty of supporters who are already fanatics. read more

Their parking is just ridiculous. We had to park almost a block away at the nearest public park (Without any form of signage or directional signs leading us to that place) and then walk that entire block back into the stadium. Terrible planning. That alone warrants a one star. I'll say the stadium itself is pretty good, but until they fix their parking and planning it's definitely a deal breaker. read more
