This museum is great for kids and adults!…read more Really loved the science rooms and the sphere projector. The galleries seem to be rotated maybe every couple months so it keeps things fresh for the adults. Only gripe i have is that the restrooms just feel dirty and things seem kind of broken. Kid changing tables are all very slanted, and not very useful.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing…read more When my girls and I first visited on February 27th, the owner (an older woman) told us they had a plushie trade-in program -- we could collect prizes and bring them back later to exchange. That made it a lot more fun and gave us a reason to return. We came back today with the plushies we had saved, only to be told by an employee that no such program exists. The employee even called the owner while we were there, and the owner denied ever telling us that. That was honestly frustrating and confusing. To be fair, the games themselves are fun, and you do eventually win, but they do feel somewhat fixed. What bothered us most was being given information that was later denied. We left feeling misled and disappointed. Clear and consistent communication with customers really matters.

After waiting in line to purchase a ticket for an hour, we waited another 20 minutes in line to go through the turn stiles. Hoping it will be better when we get in.

This year the livestock show was a lot more fun than I remember it being in the past. Honestly, we…read moredon't really care about looking at the livestock. We sort of just walk through for a few minutes. There were lots of booths with things to look at for fun. I could care less about the carnival and overpriced rides with long lines. The food was good. The shows were lots of fun. We really liked the dock dogs show. The BMXers were fun too. The petting zoo is fun for a few minutes, but then you start to feel bad for some of the animals. They had a kangaroo and people wouldn't leave the poor thing alone even though it kept trying to get away from people who were touching it. We really enjoyed the rodeo (extra cost) it was the most fun rodeo we've ever been to.

We drove from Brownsville out to this theater because it was recommended to us and boyfriend wanted…read moreto do a theater that served dinner and had big lounge seats. It definitely feels like an older theater that could probably use some updates/upgrades. The food we ordered was pretty good. I got the pretzels and hot cheese dip, which was more filling than i expected. The pretzels were soft and hot and a good size portion. I even gave my last one to the boyfriend to finish. He got the chicken quesadilla, which comes in a pizza box that is bigger than it should be. We definitely thought there would be more quesadilla in there than there actually was. But he said it tasted pretty good. We thought it was going to have the reclining seats, which it did not so that was disappointing. But I guess we should have confirmed that first. I also thought you could order the food from your seat, but you do have to get up and order at the counter....and they do deliver it to you. Overall, we probably wouldn't make the drive again, but if you live in the Edinburg area it's a nice treat to have the dinner theater.
