This HEB IN Huntsville was a 1 stop shop for all our needs .They even have an inhouse BBQ restaurant that smelled delicious. Picked up some croissant doughnuts in bakery that were a nice and sweet compliment to our high calorie dinner had earlier. Checkout was fast and courteous. And this store plays country music which fits in with the Texas Country vibe in Huntsville . Will return when need to fill up my Bearkats fridge. read more

H.E.B. is my favorite place to go grocery shopping, everything is always easy to find, everyone who works there is always super friendly, they have their coupons hanging next to the products which is really convenient and easy to save money, but what I love the most about this store is the way they do their cash registers. They have two employees at every register one to run the register and one to bag your groceries and put them in your shopping cart. They very seldom have any registers that are not open and on several occasions I have seen cashiers go get someone from a longer line and tell them that they can get them on a different register, so you never really have to wait very long to check out no matter how busy they are. I think it's a a great place to shop for groceries. read more

I can't believe they were still trying to sell these plants... it gives such a bad impression of the way the store is going to be when you walk up and see this stuff... you wouldn't leave tables of rotten apples in the produce area would you? Now I still gave them 4 stars because when you get past the plant grave yard and walk in, the store is spectacular! They have a BBQ eatery just inside the front door... I'm hearing it's supposed to be great... but I haven't tried it yet. This location has a different setup (see pictures) then other locations I've been too but it was a good change. It looked good. My favorite section... the apples... were as usual, off the chain... they have such a great selection and availability. This is a great location... they had bunches of registers open and lots of people in line... things were moving quickly though and I only spent a short amount of time in line. If they cleaned up the horrible selection of dead plants out front they'd have a 5 star review. read more

This is our third visit to this Huntsville H-E-B. We take advantage every time we come here to visit family. I say "take advantage", because we don't have the luxury of an HEB in the Dallas area. So when we visit, we stock up on all of our favorite HEB brand foods! We always make sure to bring an ice chest and ice packs as we HAVE to get our favorite H-E-B brand onion dip it's the best dip you'll ever eat! AND it tastes good with most any chip too! Scoop Fritos, Nacho Cheese Doritos or Spicy Doritos, my favorite Lays Jalapeño Kettle Chips, Wavy Potato Chips, etc... My other favorite item that I can only find at HEB is OPAS Jalapeño Cheddar Cheese sausage links... The best links you'll ever eat, by themselves or wrapped in a Cassava Tortillas with Mustard, da best The only thing we didn't enjoy was this HEB's indoor Barbecue Restaurant. Their BBQ is over priced and tastes terrible. Such a waste of money for dried out BBQ Never again! However, we WILL continue to shop here for the awesome groceries!!! read more

Wow I've never been so humiliated! I was doing the "self" check at HEB and needed cigarettes and the worker watching self check said he had to hold on to them until my debit card went through. I must look like I can't afford them. What's next are u going to hold on to my $20 steak that you think I can't afford! I can't believe that I'm writing a review of a grocery store that is 175 miles from home. We don't have HEB stores in Dallas; we do have their upscale Central Market stores. Central Market does carry some HEB- branded products, but recently stopped carrying one that I really like. While driving to Houston, I saw signs on the interstate announcing the recent opening of the new HEB in Huntsville. I took note and planned to stop there on the way home. When I got there, I was stunned by how awesome this store is. Clean, extremely well-lit and stocked with happy, helpful associates. I found my HEB product and filled a shopping cart. They have a huge, cold beer selection, including a decent selection of craft beer. I added a couple of packs to my cart. If I had a cooler, I may have purchased some of the fresh seafood which looked great. Everything in every fresh department looked great. As I'm wheeling my overflowing cart to my car, I hear zydeco music blasting the parking lot. I walk to the source of the music and found a couple of associates boiling up a mess of crawfish, crabs, shrimp and the fixings. Lunch time! I ate a plate of crawfish and fixins...then I had to go back into the store to hose off all of the cajun spice that I was covered in. Yumm! The restroom was spotless and, again, well lit. I wish that there was an HEB closer to home. read more

I shop here alot. I was watching my cashier smash my groceries on the conveyor belt. I asked if you would please not do that however you continued.I left the store only to find out he did not put all my groceries in my grocery cart. I live 30 minutes round trip. Spoke to Ryan the mic couldn't help me. Finally talked to Teresa didn't want to help me had to coax her all she had to do was walk over and find my groceries. I spend quite a bit here won't be back y'all have fun. read more

We moved to Texas from Indiana April 2018 to the great city of Huntsville. We have always been Kroger shoppers until we gave this new to us HEB a try. We have never been to Kroger while here. HEB.. First of all..really nice people..never rude..always helpful..helping find the shortest line for people..and I have never seen a store have a employee standing at the doors with a umbrella to walk you to your car when its raining...never not in indiana. And the young men and im sure women that walk in the cold rain are just so kind..its just amazing. We are moving back to Indiana in a few months and one thing we will miss dearly is HUNTSVILLE HEB. They carry some things we dont have in indiana...and most of our favorites are HEB BRAND. So we are stocking up each time we shop..we are taking a little HEB with us. read more

I don't really review anything, but this time I had to make an exception, the girl that works there named Jaiden Ohmyigod so I was on vacation last week and I was so stressed out. I could not find anything because I was new to the area and I was completely stressing out but Jaiden there made my trip so much better! She was so kind, super helpful, answered ALL of my questions about where to find stuff in the store and even all of the best places in town to go to, she knew that store like the back of her hand. The other employees did not greet me, did not help me and they were very rude when I was being checked out. I'm only giving this place 5 stars because of all the hard work and kindness that Jaiden displayed. She made me feel really welcomed and I'm glad I stopped by. absolutely awful staff. store director never provided a call back for the complaint. i will explain this in depth because i have the rare condition narcolepsy with cataplexy and am in a patient assitance program for medication. the program has a card discounting the medication for those who cannot afford it. the pharmacy refused to help me. i explained to them how to run the copay card which covers the medication cost but they did not listen they told me the price was over 500$ still. i had to call the noven help desk for the medication and do their job for them but not only that they would not listen to the advice i provided. this is a terrible team. the young man with piercing and the male pharmacist i spoke with are lazy and do not do their job. training needs to be provided for these individuals for not only customer service but their job. i will pass out at my job without my medication. i will not be able to work through the cataplexy attacks. if you have a rare condition dont use this pharmacy they are not helpful and cannot do their job. you all should be ashamed what a sorry excuse for getting into a profession to provide people with medication who need it. if you dont want your job get another one. i was able to get this medication filled at the walgreens right by your store. pitiful. i cant believe how almost no one there can do their job. i will be visiting the store director this week and calling corporate. anywhere i can post this review i will. if you cant complete the tasks for someone to get there medication you could cost them their life due to how little you care. that doesnt just go for me, that is for other individuals as well. i hope that resonates with your pharmacy staff. read more

We were so excited when we got our new HEB in Huntsville, TX and for a long while the produce was very good and fresh. Lately I have noticed a decline in quality of their produce to the point that only two days later a prepackaged bag of green beans is already rotten and half of them inedible. Also,the quality of greens that are in bags or containers are bad almost as soon as I get them home. I dont know whether HEB is not checking their produce before they purchase it or letting it sit too long out of refrigeration but I may consider shopping elsewhere! read more

Come on! 4th largest city, blah, blah, blah --wow, you've got a LONG way to go in my book, Houston. I want the restaurant choice at my Bunkerhill HEB! Anyway, in the little burg of Huntsville, they have got it going on!Usual HEB quality, great prices--great casual dining! That pepper BBQ sauce was perfect! One thing I wondered about: outside the store, they are rockin out to recorded Zydeco music, as they sell crawfish. This location does an awesome job, its always clean, stocked and the staff is nice. I wish that they would carry a few products that i have to go to KROGER for like BLUE dog food, Silk OAT YEAH! yogurt and the plant based THINK! bars specifically sea salt almond chocolate. Also the large bottles of the OI OCHA Green Tea which have a greater value than the smaller bottles. These products i can only get at Kroger and until you stock them i'll have to keep giving Kroger my business. :( read more

I shopped here this afternoon and when I left the store it was raining. They had one of their employees at the front door offering to loan me an umbrella. That is a nice gesture and what I consider to be great customer service. Way to go my HEB!! read more

The whole staff of this HEB should be really proud. They just opened a couple days ago, so their first weekend on the job was the weekend before Thanksgiving. The store was packed! I wouldn't hold it against them if there had been long lines or empty shelves or frazzled employees; but these guys were INCREDIBLE. Every employee we encountered --- giving out samples, checking people out, stocking the shelves--- had big smiles on their faces. They were laughing and joking with customers and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Even with a full store, I didn't see a single mess, a single item out of place, or a single unhappy customer. There wasn't even a line at the register! These kids were cashiering and bagging lightning fast, like seasoned pros, chatting with the customers the whole time. If a manager reads this review- please give major props to your team. I live 45 minutes away but this is now my personal grocery store. read more
