I ordered a half- load of top soil for a landscaping project at my weekend place. I made the arrangements almost two weeks in advance, and confirmed it the day before. I travelled up there with friends to help with the project. At the time we were to receive the load, the owner called and told me that unless I doubled the order he wasn't coming. He was busy and even when I explained that I had confirmed it and travelled two hours to receive it, he said it wasn't worth his time! When I asked him point blank if my business wasn't worth anything to him, he said "not really". Wow. I count myself lucky that I had not undertaken a larger project with this company. read more
