I was here looking for some foundation- it seems that I always have to switch up my foundations because my skin gets irritated. The girl working here was helpful, but she wasn't successful in finding a foundation that matched my skin tone to my satisfaction. I want to just give a shout out to the young lady that was working this past Friday late morning. She greeted me as I walked in and pointed out the seasonal items that had been released. After smelling about all the products I asked if they ship from the store which she said that they could ship to store or home and that sometimes things are not on the online store but are in the stores and how I could order from them. Just super helpful and I listened to her greet all the other customers and interact with all of them very professional and pleasant. In this time of mostly online shopping this experience made me think there is hope for me to get back out in brick and mortar shopping experiences.

The gondola I was looking at was not organized in accordance to Shade & tester. I said no I don't need help it's just a little messy, but I can mange. I COMPLETELY understand not all Sephoras can be tidy at all times. But I TRULLY could manage and wanted no help. It seemed as though me saying it was "messy" triggered him and took it personal. Even though I I didn't mind nor wanted his help. He actually then steps in attempting to help me on what I was looking for in a certain shade range and he was trying to guide me for the medium darker tones, when it was NOT what I was looking for . He then proceeded to give me unsolicited advice on make up when he doesn't even know who I am nor that's Ive be in the Makeup industry for over 15yr working in Los Angeles. The store was clean. It was also quite empty so I felt comfortable shopping but after that experience, I just wanted to leave.

I recently visited Ulta Beauty at the Claiborne location and wanted to share my experience…read more I booked this appointment with a specific stylist because he came highly recommended by a friend while my regular stylist was away on vacation. I went in with positive expectations, but unfortunately the visit did not meet the level of service I was hoping for. While the technical work may have been acceptable, the overall interaction felt impersonal and lacked the attentiveness and care that make clients feel welcome and valued. When someone chooses a stylist based on a trusted recommendation, customer service becomes just as important as the haircut itself. I hope management takes this feedback constructively and reinforces how important communication, warmth, and professionalism are to the client experience. With the right approach, future visits could be much better.
