Betty runs the shop, and her son runs the arcade ( I think that's what she said, but it actually looks like he was old enough to be her husband). Anyways, this little shop has lots of cooking, baking and canning utensils. We bought two potholders for $10 ... not a as price if you ask me. This store also has a pretty extensive selection of parts for mowers and chainsaws it appears. There are also some various other odds and ends, like candy and darts ... kind of a unique place, but I am afraid there won't be enough traffic here to make them profitable. Location is everything, and they are kinda out of the way, except for vacationers at the lake. Support small businesses like this, or they will go out of business. Cheers!

Since their inception in 2006 Great Eastern Cutlery (GEC) has risen to the pinnacle of knife making, rivaling the best output of custom knife makers. If you like pocket knives the first time you handle a GEC knife is likely to blow you away. The quality of materials, construction, fit and finish is astounding. They are also very warm and inviting at their factory, and offer free daily tours, and a factory store where you can purchase knives. The tour is absolutely amazing. If you love pocket knives, you just have to see this operation, as it is indeed unique.
