They took THOUSANDS of dollars from us for these taxes. Far more than it should have been. None of them can be filed. I've been calling for A YEAR to have this fixed. I finally called again today & when I said I might have to call a lawyer, the secretary answering said she can't talk to anyone ever if they say that word & that I was to call the 800 number for the main office of H&R Block. THEY LAWYERED UP. I called and reported this franchise -- I'll see what they do but I have no confidence. I suspect we've lost all our money to these thieves & Patty Button is the reason.

There were errors in my return that needed to be fixed but somehow it was my fault (after not listening to me). She then overcharged me for tax preparation. She seems to be all about money and not about the customer. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Pretty bad for the following reasons:…read more 1) Difficult to talk w/a person to make an appointment. Their website cannot find our previous tax return so app/online website is useless. 2) Different advisor every year as they all leave. 3) We went from owing thousands to getting thousands back this year because of 'mistakes' made by the advisor. I found the last mistake, myself, so make sure you get a hard copy to take home and REVIEW it line by line! Had I not, we would have paid an extra $5K to the IRS that we didn't owe! 4) Take out the "Peace of Mind' it is worth the $40 and they have to fix their mistakes at no cost. We've used H&R for over 38 years and this branch is not up to their usual standards. We'll not be going back again.

Distrustful of this evaluation we rescheduled with the Leb office with Cheryl and -SHOCKER - we drive 40 mins, get child care, etc only to find a sign on the door saying she's out till Monday - AGAIN, zero notification! We have filed a formal complaint against them with H&R, I genuinely hope this office gets shut down!
