The guy who did our taxes did not ask us for the proper forms in order to process our return correctly. Wondering where our return was we called him, he said give it another week, if nothing call me. Next day we get a letter from the Irs saying that they cannot send us our return until we send them a few forms. I go back to the office asking for help, the lady tells me to go home and print out the forms, bring them back in and she will complete our taxes. I bring them the forms the next day, she enters whatever she needed to, then tells me that we are now getting $600 less than what was on my take home packet after entering a bunch of info. Had to go back home to have my husband sign it, to go back there again so they could complete our return. She did not care, there wasn't even an apology for everything we had to go through, and for the delay in receiving our return. My husband has been a customer for 15 years, & this is how we're treated?!? We have never gone through this! I left the office furious! I was so upset I called H&R corporate and filed a complaint. They lady on the phone told me that they didn't want to lose us as customers and was going to see if she could get us the $600 that was now missing from our return. I just got off the phone with them now, they're offering us a $75 gift certificate off of our taxes next year if we go back! So we paid almost $400 to have these people mess up & delay our return & have me run around trying to figure out what the delay was! What a joke! read more
