In May of this year (2025), Each Penny Bookkeeping withdrew $13,300 from my business account, not $550. After further examination, I discovered that she began withdrawing money in excess of the $550/mo we agreed upon starting in July 2024. To date, her company has withdrawn $27,500 in excess of our contractual agreement. All unauthorized. I confronted Ashley about this in May and she assured me it was an error with the software she uses and she told me she refunded the transactions. After weeks of waiting, no refunds were issued to us. After inquiring again. I was told that she'd wire the money to me. Again, I have received nothing. I attempted to contact her on June 12th for proof of a transfer and she did not respond and has not responded to any subsequent emails or phone calls since that date. My calls go straight to voicemail and she has also blocked me on social media. We are working with the State Attorney office and criminal charges have been filed against her.
