First off, my family and I haven't needed an accountant since leaving NY and have been just fine with online tax consulting because it was easier. That all changed when my family and I moved to Texas and bought a house. I can't thank Jerry Flowers - https://www.dreamhomesbyjerry.com/, my realtor enough for finding and helping us get into our home. With that being said, we now needed an accountant with all these new changes going on. Jerry had nothing but nice things to say about Mr Rose and suggested that I check him out. We are so glad we did because Mr Rose and his organization welcomed us right off the bat! The staff was warm and welcoming as well. They even grabbed some crayons for my young boys, DISCLAIMER: the office is not meant for kids FYI but they can handle just in case :) Mr Rose was able to sit down and explain the good and the bad in order to give us options when filing. Thank you so much Mr Rose for all that you have done thus far, see you next year!

Michael Rose is an OUTSTANDING CPA and wonderful man! Over the past 15+ years I have used his…read moreservices consistently and faithfully, as a loyal customer who also readily referred numerous friends, colleagues, and family to Michael Rose, CPA. However, over the past 5-10 years as he has scaled his business, the level of service has declined (first, a few minor mishaps here and there or things overlooked on my tax returns as I dealt with new, my guess, seasonal workers who never really took the time to know me or my finances beyond quick conversations). I saw less and less of him and more of other random employees handling my taxes. (It's fine, I guess. I'm not a millionaire, so perhaps he has bigger clients to tent to?!) His personal touch and friendly face was always a source of comfort during what could be an otherwise stressful time: tax season. The major issue I have -which has led to my final decision to take my business elsewhere- is with the front office staff which was at one time run by nice, friendly women but have now been replaced by Michael's wife "Ledy". She is rude and lacks basic customer service. Most of all, given that a large portion of Mr. Rose's clients are African American, she could use a course on "cultural competency" and learning how to speak to black folks versus talking down to them or like she is above them! I would conjecture that the frequent turnover in office staff is due to her poor management "style" and lack of respect. It's too bad that she has gotten in the way of what was once a wonderful professional relationship. Thanks to her attitude combined with the other personnel changes in the business, I will most definitely not be returning!

I had read all the reviews esa they have from google (94) and they have 4.9 stars. In the past years we have gone to liberty mutual / H&R Block and have also done our taxes ourselves. Due to some life events, we decided to go back to a professional tO help us out. Oki was GREAT! Not only was he friendly, he was also very clear, knowledgeable and helpful with all of our questions. We turned to good old Google and saw the outstanding reviews for Olu Olojo, Branch manager at Financial Planning & Tax Office, Inc. Another plus was that the office was less than a 10 minute drive from our home!! Olu greeted us warmly and was easy to talk to! He immediately got down to business and was able to use deductions that we qualified for that we were unaware of! He was extremely efficient! Before we left, Olu provided us with the completed tax return and our personal documents in a classy folder that included his business card. He answered our questions and explained everything extremely well. We are so happy that we used Olu and highly recommend him to others!

I spoke with Jose on the phone, and he was super friendly and informative. When he told me they only charge $60 I was SHOCKED, and he said "Oh no, we're not here to just take your money." How sincere. He told me when to come in if I wanted to beat the rush hour (apparently Saturday and Monday are busy days for these guys) When I got there at about 5 pm on Friday, I was invited right in by Veronica, zero wait. She's a doll!! Super cute and friendly. It took her about 15 minutes to do my taxes, and while she was doing it, we chatted and giggled. I mean, really very friendly lady. She stapled up my paperwork and got everything organized so that all I had to do was put it in the mail. In and out, totally stress free, very affordable, pleasant experience. Highly recommend!!!
