I called multiple other places that do tax prep and no place I called quoted me over $200 worst case. In fact, one laughed at the thought of asking $400+. I wanted to just pick my stuff up and go someplace else, to which they responded I either need to bring cash(wouldn't take a check because they thought I would stop payment) or contact an attorney; holding my tax forms and w2's for ransom. ALSO, after getting completely ripped off, I knew this place couldn't be trusted so I took my return to another tax prep place for a 2nd opinion. Stephanie at Darabosh made 4 apparently obvious mistakes and the 2nd place found me an additional $175. Bottom line: if you want to get ripped off and completely overcharged for an inaccurate tax return, take your stuff to Darabosh. If you value your money, customer service, and accuracy- go some place else.

So worth the small fee each year. Also you have to think about your future. Someday I will have a much more complicated return and I already have someone I trust to get it done right.
