One of the things I've learned as an adult is the one thing you don't play around with is the IRS. I won't get into details, but we are dealing with something that is not the fault of our own. We also had situations come up where I feel like dealing with a CPA would be the best fit. We've decided it was best to take our tax preparation elsewhere for the best interest of what's happened in the past and what we need going into the future. Note: Outside of tax season they are at this location only on Thursdays and Fridays. Another reason for going elsewhere is so we can speak to someone Monday thru Friday if we have any issues outside of tax season.

When she was done with me I owed the IRS over $6K plus $450 for her service. My new guy is a prior IRS auditor and now I'm getting a $3500 return....that's a $10K swing!!!!!First, she charges you a $200 retainer right off the bat (Should have realized what was going on right there, and I'll never see that money again). Somebody from her firm prepares your taxes but with almost no communication (I got 1 phone call). If you try to add anything additional deductions during your meeting with Susan then that's a $75 additional charge... Bottom line is her firm does not fight for you. If something is in the grey and she may have to fight for you then she won't touch it. Same service as H&R Block but wayyy more expensive. She wanted to charge me $175 to do my son's taxes...he's in high school and the money from his return is less than what she was going to charge him. Unless you light your cigars with $100 bills then find someone who is willing to help you. I feel like I was a mark in a con.

The star professional of the group was John Hyre from the Aspire Network who would then leave without providing any service. All I've done in about 15 months is explain the basics of my account to a team who would then leave and a new team would be assigned to me and we'd repeat that cycle for over a year about 4 times. There's barely any continuity and there's no traction. Now after submitted my 2025 tax documents in July 2026 after being prompted, I am pushed to a last minute crunch of having to answer their questions 2 months later in September, causing me to be forced to rearranged my life around figuring out what happened up to 19 months ago. There's very little continuity, forcing me to have the same conversation with multiple employees who each time apologize and state that it won't happen again. Now I have a completely new team. All I want is the $15,000 that was promised as a refund to me and my 2025 taxes filed before the deadline.

As I said she was great until I had a claim, zero percent at fault and tried to get them to help and it literally fell on deaf ears, no help, no follow up and truly a discouraging experience, even when I contacted her and she said they would take certain steps on my behalf....nothing, no follow up and frankly doubt they lifted a finger. So in summary she's great as long as you don't need her in an accident situation. I'm actually shopping based on price now since a name brand company offered worse service then a no name company from down south.
