They did exactly everything they said they would do. They were always available by phone or email and never left me hanging or waiting as most companies do. These guys are good people and definitely deserve a 5 star rating. Thank you and Great Job Matt! Josh from Hawaii

As a Business Owner, I have hired many CPA's throughout the years. Sometimes "we" get a bit cocky…read moreand think because we have done this before, we know what we are doing. Susan Carter and her staff took the time to show me WHY i should be doing the things we do! At first I was like "Okay...been here before!", pretty soon it went to "OOOHHH Okay, that makes sense!" and "WOW! I didn't know that!". I am sure the difference in the way that I was approached by Susan Carter CPA was in MY approach! When I was looking for a CPA for my new business venture I took the time to research local CPA's, I checked out their reviews, I called and discussed the services provided, went in personally to "interview" Susan and compared rates vs services. After all my list making and fact checking Susan was the only one remaining! Here's to Successful Business Ventures with the proper support and staffing!

When she was done with me I owed the IRS over $6K plus $450 for her service. My new guy is a prior IRS auditor and now I'm getting a $3500 return....that's a $10K swing!!!!!First, she charges you a $200 retainer right off the bat (Should have realized what was going on right there, and I'll never see that money again). Somebody from her firm prepares your taxes but with almost no communication (I got 1 phone call). If you try to add anything additional deductions during your meeting with Susan then that's a $75 additional charge... Bottom line is her firm does not fight for you. If something is in the grey and she may have to fight for you then she won't touch it. Same service as H&R Block but wayyy more expensive. She wanted to charge me $175 to do my son's taxes...he's in high school and the money from his return is less than what she was going to charge him. Unless you light your cigars with $100 bills then find someone who is willing to help you. I feel like I was a mark in a con.

We trusted them with our two small businesses (bookkeeping and tax returns) and our personal tax returns. I had to hire a real CPA to review and fix the Quickbooks data transactions and both 2018 business Tax Returns. They delayed finishing and filing our 2018 personal tax return for 5 months which resulted in an additional tax payment plus penalty and interest. Their "affordable" price cost us more money in the end. They either need to hire a real CPA on staff, or they need to disclose that they don't have a CPA.
