I was luckily able to get an appointment rather quickly which was a huge relief since I always procrastinate filing my taxes. They even offer weekend and weeknight appointments during tax season which is a huge plus! Their staff is so friendly and welcoming and helps to make such a daunting task truly enjoyable and easy. I worked with Jasmine and I could not recommend her more. I appreciated that she explained everything concisely and clearly helping to make this such a painless process. He is a savvy accountant and he stays abreast of all of the tax changes happening each year. The office sends out notifications throughout the year reminding you of the more significant changes that will impact you favorably or negatively so you are not surprised come tax time. But if you happened to miss an update there is no doubt Rich will be reminding you when you meet. Though I had many recommendations and referrals for other accountants, I chose to work with Rose because I chose to specifically support a woman and minority owned business. One piece of advice from Erin Benzakein from Floret about hiring a bookkeeper and accountant was that if you feel dumb or awful after meeting with either, then it's time for you to hire a new accountant/bookkeeper. I was having a hard time managing my own bookkeeping and was inquiring about this service. I met with Tara and she was condescending, defensive, and was gaslighting me when I started crying on the call after she went on a diatribe about the importance of bookkeeping. I also disagreed with her statement that "Bookkeeping is the backbone of your business." Unfortunately, Rose was also on the call and there wasn't any intervention. I would recommend Rose Brown only if you were just working with her and Darin, but would stay away if you are on a call with Tara.
