My entire family has gotten their taxes done here FOREVER, and while I'm not sure why or how this came about, I AM sure I'm terrible at math and adult things, so I follow suit. I've been getting my taxes done here for as long as I've been filing taxes and I love them - they're personable, hardworking, they never steer me wrong, they ask a zillion great questions, and I'm always pleased with the outcome (I mean c'mon, they're not miracle workers, they can't magically get me a bigger refund). Since I've never gone anywhere else to get my taxes done, I don't know how "reasonable" their prices are, but given that my hubs has his his done online through H&R Block and there's no real person to check his work or tell him he's being an idiot and he pays only slightly less than I do, I think it's a pretty good deal. Though lots of you whipper snappers probably have gone the route of turbo tax and other online tax preparers, I'm just not 100% comfortable with that. Until I get there, I'll continue to come here - where I'm confident they'll do an awesome job, and they remember my face year after year.

His spiteful and unprofessional action caused a delay in my staff receiving their checks. We hired him for 9 years to process our payroll. Last month, we used his service to acquire the PPP loan for my business due to the pandemic. We were able to secure the loan, but afterwards he wanted a seemingly high lump sum fee for bi-weekly "consultation" and "work fees" to manage the loan. When I inquired him about the fees, he responded very rudely and angrily for questioning. Taken aback by his rude response, I decided to use a different accountant to help manage the loan. A week later, I submitted my payroll to Peter's office to process like I had done for the past 9 years. His staff told me that it will be processed as usual. When I did not hear back from them or received the checks, I called Peter and he told me that he was dropping me as a customer because it was not "profitable" to continue running our payroll. What company/ person gives one day notice to their customer of their dramatic intention after 9 years when it will effect so many people's income and livelihood!?!? It is my belief that Peter did this intentionally because I did not hire his office for PPP consultation. STAY AWAY!!!!
