The ladies here were incredibly sweet, my appointment ran smoothly, timely and was generally productive regarding getting the amount I owed in taxes down, but then I was charged for their services. $317, and I only owed HALF of that, so if I had know this would cost so much I would have NEVER gone in. I have been saving every dime for the last year, and now I flushed too much of that in 30 minutes for them to enter the same data I'd already done myself but not submitted because I didn't know what I could write off. For a crazy fee like this, it should absolutely be mentioned beforehand. I feel scammed. Yes, I was ignorant, but who the hell expects such an enormous fee? Taking advantage of people who've never done this before is immoral. This was my second time ever filing taxes, as I'm young. My father, who owns a big company and has very complex taxes, pays less than I did. Again, the staff was absolutely wonderful. I have nothing negative to say about my general experience here, I'm just frustrated with the lack of warning. read more
