We signed all paperwork and were advised of a refund. We heard nothing as of 4/14/25 so we followed up to see if everything was ok. They waited until this time to actually submit the taxes and they were rejected. Firm told us they didn't know why. We went over all details of the taxes and discovered they had our son's birthdate wrong. The COLLEGE student they had listed born in 2022 instead of 2002. We fixed that. Weeks go by - no word. We follow up again. Now we're told my daughter bounced back because she claimed herself. We submit paperwork to fix that. Weeks go by - no word. Then we're told they're rejected and they don't know why so they'll need to file by mail. Weeks go by - no word. We have followed up at least 10 times in the last 6 months and are always told they don't have any answers. Today we called to follow up and were told they need us to come in and sign so they can file by mail. No one told us MONTHS ago we needed to sign anything - and we wouldn't have known if we didn't AGAIN follow up. $430 to get our taxes done and nothing has been done by this firm with any urgency. It's 10/1/25 and we STILL don't have taxes filed. Never again.

After contacting Douglas Moini on several occasions, he admitted to having all of my tax documents and that his employee failed to report it to the IRS. He assured me that he would take care of the penalties and fines and follow up with the proper paperwork with the IRS. This was never done, so for an original Tax payment of $6,000 dollars I am now paying over $12,000 to the IRS. He continually lied to me and my wife and failed to provide the service that he should have provided. I have been paying taxes since I was 14 years old and never failed to report my income to the IRS. So, as a result of this company's negligence, I am being held responsible. As a Certified Public Accountant I would expect more. If the company would like to respond that would be wonderful, because Mr. Moini has chosen to ignore it.

For cheaper than TurboTax, Mr. Hulse quickly got us back on track by fixing our deficiencies and expertly completing all tax documents. All we had to do was upload some information onto his easily accessible online portal and next thing we knew, our taxes were complete.
