This place is a complete joke. Scheduled an appointment, was there early and waited forever while other people were helped ahead of us, although we were there first. We were pushed off on someone else named Doug Karel who has no business being in the public. He was unintelligible, mumbled and seemed as if it was his first time ever doing taxes. He made wise cracks about my profession in pharmacy and healthcare in general, and was almost trying to argue with me about medicine being "evil" in his opinion. I watched him type my information into the computer, he wrote "pharmacy bs", turned to me to show me what he wrote, and laughed. I was livid! I help sick people every day, work very hard to get where I am, and I take pride in my job. Belittling a person's profession just because he doesn't agree with it is wrong. His off handed remarks about my profession, my husband's finances and his rude idiotic comments were completely infuriating. The entire session took twice as long as it should because of his constant inappropriate interjections. At the point of signing our documents, I was then insulted by his comment about me being left handed and that I almost seemed "normal" if it weren't for that. This entire experience was surreal, I surely thought I was on a hidden camera show because of how ridiculous this was. I'm in no way confident that our taxes were done correctly and absolutely paid for the protection plan. Opened a formal complaint with H&R Block, doubt it will help. When paying $240 for a service, it should be professional, accurate and courteous. This place is anything but. The only redeeming thing was the lady at the front desk, she was the exception.
