I've been filing my taxes with H&R Block for some time now and so far, so good! The tax filing process went smooth with the help of Maria! I was able to upload my documents ahead of time so she could start working on the filing process. When I came in person, she was very polite and patient when we were going over the information to make sure that we didn't miss anything. I really appreciate how thorough she was! read more

I've very luckily had the opportunity to encounter Maria Garcia in helping me file my taxes and this being my first time at H&R Block, rather than the typical mom & pops location I've gone to within my immediate family, was rather a delight and very quick!! Maria managed to get me the most out of my return than all the other occasions I've had them filed in the past couple of years, all in a very friendly, informative, and efficient manner. Will definitely come back for next tax season & recommending my family to go here :) (Receptionist was also very friendly, thank you!) read more

Here getting my taxes done for 2017. Doing my part to fulfill my civic obligation to keep America and California running. The office is located on the Chino Spectrum and is next to the Yum Buffet. The office is clean and modern with cubicles for each tax preparer to meet with you and collect your info. I was helped by Mark Clear who is very professional and personable. He called me a week before my appointment and walked me they all the things I needed for the appointment. Total time in the office was less than an hour. With the new tax laws coming into play. I already made my appointment for next year! Overall a five star experience. read more

I scheduled an appointment online to see Kimberly Nelson at the Central / Philadelphia location in Chino. That location is only open for tax season, so Kim referred me to this location because she works there during the off season. Kim was a huge help to me, as I had trouble filing for myself using the H&R Block Online File software. I was filing in 2 different states, so she walked me through the steps and helped to maximize my refund. I would highly recommend her to anyone! read more

I would highly recommend Cheryl Jacobs at H&R Block. I found her using Yelp. I called so many tax preparers asking to audit my taxes as we went along and they were all going to charge me extra except for Cheryl. I explained my situation to her,and she audied as she prepared my taxes regardless of how long it took. Her savvy knowledge of taxes codes, I was able to save over $3,000 in federal taxes and went from owing the state to getting a $1,000 refund. She gave me advice of what I was doing wrong in my bookkeeping and record keeping and what to do for 2014 going forward. Plus they offer their audit protection for only $35. Anyone who files a Schedule C would be foolish not to take it. No other firm offers such a low audit protection. My mom recently was audited by the IRS and that audit protection saved her thousands of dollars. I will definitely be using her again. read more

Husband and I came to this location on a Thursday night. Elizabeth Smith helped us and was very approachable and friendly. Answered our questions and clarified any confusions. There's nothing bad I can say about our first experience at this location. We will come back in the future! read more

I saw Janet. She was able to fit me in on the last day of tax season which was awesome. She was extremely helpful and very friendly. I was a little shocked by the price for my return (almost $400) I know Janet doesn't make the prices and she did help to find ways to get the bill a tad lower. So thank you Janet. I would definatley recommend her services she was great! read more

I have had an absolutely horrible experience here. The receptionist Marcella has outright lied to me then turned and called me a liar. I'm going on 1 year and 6 months to file a simple piece of mind guarantee. This place is not worth the headache. Also, if you look elsewhere you will see similar reviews. I will never do business with this branch and most likely H&R Block again. Note I have been a customer of theirs since 1999. Anyone have a good recommendation for an tax professional? read more

This H&R Block is terrible. A gentleman named Mark helped with my return. He had me sit at the cubicle across from him and expected me to say out loud with other people around personal information like my phone number, birthday, social security number, and then expected me to say out loud how much I paid in student loans last year. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! That's when I personally walked over to his cubicle to show him how much I paid in students loans. A month has gone by and I still have no tax return. I called the office asking where was my tax return and Mark had informed me that for whatever reason my tax return had been sent back because he said the address I gave was invalid. The address I gave him is CURRENT and had to go through with calling 2 different numbers and being on hold for almost 2 hours just so I could find out what the heck is going on with my tax return and why I haven't gotten it yet. Mark is very unprofessional and should of been doing the work I had to do today. read more

I had my 2008 tax return prepared by Cheryl Jacobs and paid over $200 for the service and the audit protection. This past July I found out that I may have overpaid and went into the office to see about filing an amended tax return. I assumed they were working on it but when I went in to pick it up I was told they had talked to Cheryl Jacobs about it and she dismissed the idea because it might open me up to an audit. She was supposed to contact me about it. It is now 5 months later and the only message I have received is one explaining why she hasn't been able to call (daughter's wedding, car accident). The people in the office have left messages for her but nobody has taken the initiative to talk to me. Save your money and do it yourself. They charge a lot for what can be done by a tax program just as effectively and they abandon you when you need them. read more

Went here last year - wait was really long and it took the lady a long time to get our return done. Today we went back; with an appointment scheduled and we showed up early - we still were waiting for 35 minutes for our "tax professional". He came out and could barely speak English - and said it'd be 5 more minutes. We left. Customer service is not their priority. They had ONE person working there - its after work hours and 3 weeks before taxes are due...DUMB read more
