Otherwise, we've pay on time and in full and haven't needed to make a claim. In January during the extreme cold snap we had a pipe burst in our basement. There was a significant amount of flooding and some damage. Luckily, we caught the flooding shortly after the pipe burst and got a remediation company to come out at 7 AM that morning. The remediation company did an amazing job to get to the house quickly and stop the damage. Later that day we filed the claim with State Farm and told them who we had hired. They said we did the right thing and were happy to hear that we got such quick service to prevent further damage. It took three+ weeks for the remediation company to dry out the house and fix the issues. State Farm lowballed the remediation company's invoices and conveniently found a way to come up with an amount that they'd accept that was below our deductible. The claims adjuster was an arrogant prick who refused to negotiate with the remediation company and we ended up having to pay everything out of pocket. The issue is that the remediation company did everything we could have hoped for...they showed up before business hours on the morning of the flood and cleaned up the mess. The claims adjuster was so petty that he even objected to the remediation company's billing for emergency services prior to business hours, then objected to the fact that the company used drying equipment on a soaked rug, etc. There was no way I was going to not pay the remediation company for its work even though State Farm told us to not pay them. That's unethical in our minds. When we really needed the insurance company they basically stabbed us in the back.

Lots of issues here. I will start off by stating that I am pleased with my rates. I have 4 vehicle…read moreinsured and also have homeowners insurance. The staff at the Manhattan office have been much more helpful and friendly than those I've encountered at the Bozeman location. I will say that one male I spoke with at the Bozeman location was professional and friendly though. My first issue occurred when I needed to utilize roadside assistance on a Friday evening when keys were locked in one of my vehicles and that was a fiasco. The office was closed this late in the day so I had to call a number on the back of my card. They could not find I had coverage with State Farm and it took hours of me waiting in a blizzard in Bozeman to get the vehicle unlocked. I also had to pay 50 dollars which was later refunded back to me. Another issue is that we received a mystery refund of around 40 dollars. We then received a bill for this exact same amount. We contacted State Farm and "Employee 1" told us we did owe it but could not explain why we received a refund and they why they now wanted the money back. This went on for months. I texted her and told her to just take it from my payment method on file. She then charged me over 200 dollars for my fiancé's vehicle which he pays from a separate account... I complained and I felt she tried to blame me for the error, saying that's what she thought I wanted done even though I have texts stating otherwise. Finally, she said the 40 dollars wasn't owed. I still don't know how it took so long to figure this out. Lastly, "Employee 2" was extremely rude to me. I called to try to speak with someone competent about the 40 dollar amount and the erroneous charge to my account. She was trying to rush me off the phone and stated one of the vehicles had moved from 6 month payments to monthly (this wasn't even related to the issue I was calling about). I clarified with her on the call which vehicle and told her I hadn't approved that. I later followed up with her and Employee 1 in an email about this and Employee 2 stated she never told me that! I would like to see a bit more accountability on their end. They will say "oh, that person has been doing this for years and is very knowledgeable." Okay, then I expect a higher quality experience as a customer. At one point I asked someone at the Manhattan office if I could speak directly with Daniel regarding the 40 dollar refund/bill issue before it was resolved and they pretty much said no and that they'd have Employee 1 call me since she had been handling my account. This has been frustrating but no issues the last month or so.

And trust me on her completely lacking competency: I am also a lawyer and was nothing short of appalled by this woman's unethical billing practices in conjunction with her unrelenting refusal to do her job at all. She literally treated me like I was her associate or her intern the entire time she represented me by making me do all of her work (with a very nasty attitude to boot) and billing me exponentially more than a competent, ethical family law attorney would have to actually do his/her job and guide me with the expertise Anna Williams tricked me into thinking she had when I hired her. Unless you are looking for representation that entails a mean-spirited, unprofessional incompetent insulting and lying to you at every possible opportunity as you do all your case's work for her so she can then in turn bill you $300 per day to "review" the multiple hours of work you completed for her and another $250 to (sloppily) copy and paste your work into one of her preexisting forms before ends the day by calling or emailing you to insist everything related to the fundamental facts and circumstances of your case are nowhere near as advantageous as she thought they were during the consultation and to argue how your case is not strong at all as you know it to be based on common sense and domestic violence laws - just so she could bill you $225 for literally driving you crazy for at least an hour...avoid at all costs. There is a reason why you cannot leave a review of her practice on Google reviews. Anna Williams frankly should not be practicing law and I hope no one ever allows her to put him or her through the nightmare Anna Williams cruelly subjected me. That is, forcing me to donate against my will $15,000 to my new abuser in exchange for her to relentlessly insult and torture me emotionally and psychologically while simultaneously making me do all the legal work I hired her to complete when she regretfully conned me into paying her a $15,000 retainer to divorce me from my extremely abusive ex-husband. Without a doubt one of the worst (and most expensive) 7 weeks of my life. That's correct; she bled me dry of nearly the entire $15,000 in under 7 weeks to "review" insult, undermine and then plagiarize my hard work with the aid of the copy/paste function. Long version: Never having needed a lawyer before, "shopping around" for one was an exercise in frustration, customer service is far from a top priority at law offices I've come to realize. Between offices that would never call back when they said they would to admins who sounded like they just could not care less about what you were calling about, Anna's office was a breath of fresh air. We were able to set up a consultation in a reasonable time frame, she listened carefully to what we had to say, then clearly and rationally explained the legal grounds our case had, were it could lack, and was up front about how long and grueling the process would likely be. There were a few bumps at the very beginning (a couple things wrong with paperwork that were caught prior to their submission by us), and when we brought this to her attention, she was deeply apologetic and it never happened again. (A mistake does not bother me as long as the person who did it owns up to it and fixes the problem, which she did.) She guided us through the process with a calm and professional demeanor that helped alleviate some of the stress involved, and never once did we feel we had been left alone or in the dark about any part of the process. Preparations for mediation and court were thorough for us as clients and those who were witnesses on our behalf. Her communication times were reasonable, and the work she and her team put in matched up with every bill we received which was incredibly detailed and verifiable. We feel her prices were reasonable based on the quality of work performed - her knowledge of the law and ability to aptly apply it to our case was brilliant. Even if we had not won, her services earned the fees associated with them. Anna's services will be kept on retainer, as we have a suspicion the other party will try some other tactic in the near future. We are confident in our recommendation of Anna for family law cases based on our experiences.
