Lots of issues here. I will start off by stating that I am pleased with my rates. I have 4 vehicle insured and also have homeowners insurance. The staff at the Manhattan office have been much more helpful and friendly than those I've encountered at the Bozeman location. I will say that one male I spoke with at the Bozeman location was professional and friendly though. My first issue occurred when I needed to utilize roadside assistance on a Friday evening when keys were locked in one of my vehicles and that was a fiasco. The office was closed this late in the day so I had to call a number on the back of my card. They could not find I had coverage with State Farm and it took hours of me waiting in a blizzard in Bozeman to get the vehicle unlocked. I also had to pay 50 dollars which was later refunded back to me. Another issue is that we received a mystery refund of around 40 dollars. We then received a bill for this exact same amount. We contacted State Farm and "Employee 1" told us we did owe it but could not explain why we received a refund and they why they now wanted the money back. This went on for months. I texted her and told her to just take it from my payment method on file. She then charged me over 200 dollars for my fiancé's vehicle which he pays from a separate account... I complained and I felt she tried to blame me for the error, saying that's what she thought I wanted done even though I have texts stating otherwise. Finally, she said the 40 dollars wasn't owed. I still don't know how it took so long to figure this out. Lastly, "Employee 2" was extremely rude to me. I called to try to speak with someone competent about the 40 dollar amount and the erroneous charge to my account. She was trying to rush me off the phone and stated one of the vehicles had moved from 6 month payments to monthly (this wasn't even related to the issue I was calling about). I clarified with her on the call which vehicle and told her I hadn't approved that. I later followed up with her and Employee 1 in an email about this and Employee 2 stated she never told me that! I would like to see a bit more accountability on their end. They will say "oh, that person has been doing this for years and is very knowledgeable." Okay, then I expect a higher quality experience as a customer. At one point I asked someone at the Manhattan office if I could speak directly with Daniel regarding the 40 dollar refund/bill issue before it was resolved and they pretty much said no and that they'd have Employee 1 call me since she had been handling my account. This has been frustrating but no issues the last month or so. read more

I have been with StateFarm for over 12 years and recently switched to this agent! Since switching I have had no customer service! Every time I call they act like they don't know anything! I recently received an email on May 23 stating my insurance renewed and payment was due. I called to make payment and noticed my rate went up almost $100 for no reason so I asked. They stated they had to look into it. Then someone called saying my insurance had lapsed!!! I never received a call saying I needed to make a payment! They then told me it was due on May 9 but I just received the notice on May 23 that it was due!! Horrible customer service!! What if I had gotten into a wreck, do not bother working with them cheaper for a reason they don't care or don't pay attention. When I asked why I wasn't notified Ginnell stumbled around on the phone that someone reached out and sent emails but I only received one and nobody called me once! Nor did I receive any emails that I was past due or that my insurance was about to lapse! I'd advise finding a new agent!!! read more

The quote I received from Daniels office was the lowest I had been offered. I had even gotten a quote from another SF agency, and the coverage in Daniels office was much better. I am happy I made the switch. read more
