This is a big H&M even though it's only on one floor. It's organized pretty well with women's items taking up much of the front of the store and separate rooms for men's and kids. I can't really pin down the style since they have a bit of everything. They had a pretty wide selection of Ivey league shirts from Harvard and Yale...and then also ones from UCLA. Not sure what the connection was there. In the same section they had a Philadelphia Eagles shirt - no other football teams though. They have the business as usual kind of clothes with different blazers and other work wear as well as party style outfits that would be nice for NYE. They still also have their Divided line. I was also shopping for a baby shower so I was looking for kids clothing. They have sizes ranging from baby to child. The baby stuff was mostly in neutral palettes with stylish cuts with tasteful prints which seemed suited for both boys and girls. What a customer service disaster. I called 4x on a Tuesday before noon only to wait to be hung up on - ALL 4 times - to check for an item. Thinking they might be busy, I went in only to discover that I could count the number pf customers in there on both hands. Instead I found a cluster of sales reps in the dressing room talking while 1 cashier handled a line of at least 5 people by herself. This H&M location is probably one of the worst. It has nothing to do with the mall, or the staff, but they have the WORST selection of clothing I've seen at any location, and I've been to a lot of them. They don't carry any of the trendier stuff (the Divided line) and their sale section gets attacked so brutally that there is never anything left. Once, only once, I found a pair of shorts. And once, I bought a bag. And that is it. I shop at H&M a lot, people. Me exiting the store with 0-1 purchases is a big deal. read more

Yesterday my sister and I went into the scarborough location .My sister as.we are all leaving on separate vacations my sister to Singapore. And my family to our yearly trip to Cuba wanted to buy my daughther a "My little pony " tug along luggage Not very expensive only 39.99 We paid and then as we were leaving the store this woman starts following me and my daughther - As I was just about to step.out of the store she screams at me that my daughther will have to leave the suitcase.! Accusing me of stealing .publicly humiliating me .First I am in a professioanl career for over 15 years and have never stolen once ! Or would I ever -but needless to say legal./and common sence would be ,instead of accusing the customer just go up and ask if the customer would not mind showing the bill !!! Which we had !.she disappeared after I told her what nerves(I have the bill on me ) now the store is attempting to steal from me the customer ! Not only do they want the money but they want the money and to keep the merchandise they just sold you.i went back into the store and asked to speak to the manager - who was far away herself from professional acted like I was bothering her from moving her clothing racks around and would not even stop to look me civility in the eye and give a decent apology - I went back to even show the receipt that her employee accused me first without even asking for a receipt ! Which would of been the professional thing to do ! Instead they feel it's their right without harden evidence to publicly accused paying customers and not even feel like they have to show any legal obligation to false accusation! Intelligence would tell you to ask for a receipt !! Not sure if their sensible enough to realize it but that attitude and manner of conducting themselves without asking for a receipt first can hold h and m legally responsible Expect cheap clothes ! Cheap customer service with employees with no common sense ! By the way their head office not only ignored my emails.but on their Facebook page when I wrote my concern they removed it ..I then realized reading through the comments they only edit for the good positive comments on how low.their merchandise is - that explains everything about the etiquette of the company and staff Sorry on my iPhone. Can I give them a zero? They left the tag on. Suggested I drive back and forth, over 90 minutes in total, so they can remove. No apology, nothing to compensate for wasting my time. Appalling customer service. Whomever answered the phone really didn't care that our child's gift was ruined and unusable for the event it was purchased for. They should be ashamed of themselves - the starting point is an apology; this is H&M's error and they have not begun with an apology nor offered an acceptable solution. This location is sup-par, but the worst thing about it is the incompetent employees in the ladies department. I felt like I had entered some sort of hideous parallel high school bully universe...the manager Opal was...well she was just plain mean and unwilling to help or even be kind. Dress refund with full receipts turned out to be a nightmare as even though the dressed was bought with a stain (I loved it so much and I'm so great with stains I thought I could get it out), and the fact that it had a stain was clearly marked on the receipt, and I was assured that all i had to do was take the dress home, remove it, and if i couldn't, the money would be refunded in a snap. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it out, and when getting it ready to return in pristine condition, I decided to iron it. Frustratingly, the medium iron instructions on the tag were completely misleading, the lowest setting singed the stain, so giving up, I brought the dress back with all the tags and receipts. Half an hour of arguing, crying even though i tried my hardest to keep cool (I get sad instead of mad darnit...but couldn't keep my tears in when the other sales associates made disparaging comments from the sidelines as though it was a yo mama court fight) and two calls that I had to MAKE her make to the head office later, i walked out with no refund, but a merchandise credit card grudgingly given to me. The 'manager' opal refused to tell the true story to the head office, making me look like I had ruined the dress on purpose as an irresponsible customer. It had started with her telling me sorry, not our problem, please leave. I am never shopping here again. If any one knows how I can file a complaint against this store, please let me know.
