I called several custom T-shirt companies who all stated it would be a two week turnaround. In a panic I thought to search Yelp for other custom T-shirt companies in my area. I ran across Dream Life on Yelp, I called expecting to hear the same spill of not being able to complete my order on such short notice. Which would be totally understandable due to my procrastination and totally my fault. When I called Dream Life, I spoke to Jasmine an explained my situation. Jasmine asked me a few questions and urged me to send my logo and T-shirt information ASAP and she would be able to fulfill my order. Two days later Jasmine contacted me to pickup my order! The T's were of excellent quality and just as I had envisioned them! Thanks to Jasmine and Dream Life I have the T-shirts I need to rock at the conference. I got the crochet braids & literally 8 of the 10 braids have come undone. I would expect this a month in, but 1 1/2 weeks, NO WAY! When I went back & told TaTa about the issue she suggested it was my fault. What in the world could I have done in that little time for my hair to look like I was a bait dog in a dog fight?!? I always try to visit yarn stores, when I am travelling, and this one has a lovely community feel, where you are welcome to bring your project and hang out and chat with fellow knitters and crocheted. On entering my eyes were drawn to a beautiful wrap, crocheted by the lovely resident teacher Zanna. It was stunning, and, she revealed, really quite simple to make. The yarn selection isn't tremendous, but you're sure to find some unusual ones, and I was pleased to pick up some sock yarn that was hand-dyed in Memphis, as well as Berroco's interestingly textured Summer Sesame, and another exquisitely colored sock weight yarn. Store hours are currently limited, but, it's well worth a visit, if you are there during Friday and Saturday opening hours.

She offered her assistance during the week and mentioned other upcoming events hosted by the library. For class you basically just need to bring your own crochet needles/tools and the yard and printed instructions were supplied. I ordered my crochet tools from amazon for reference. I definitely recommend any of the public libraries. They have various programs from cooking, sewing, crochet and even tech class. But this was just the beginning of my crocheting. I plan to attend more events.
