Signed up for a free crochet class. Yarn and printed instructions were included. But there was hands on learning, the instructor was very knowledgeable and kind. She offered her assistance during the week and mentioned other upcoming events hosted by the library. For class you basically just need to bring your own crochet needles/tools and the yard and printed instructions were supplied. I ordered my crochet tools from amazon for reference. I definitely recommend any of the public libraries. They have various programs from cooking, sewing, crochet and even tech class. But this was just the beginning of my crocheting.
